KJS-Y6-1116-TZ Asia Pacific Adventure Ltd. LIST OF ITEMS TO BRING FOR YOUR CAMP Remember: This is an adventure-based program. Please do not pack your best clothes, as they are likely to get quite dirty. Leave your phones, MP3 players, i-pods and other similar items at home – there will not be time to use them! Bring your watch but leave other jewelry at home; you will only have to take it off for activities anyway. And finally, you will not need much spending money, so please don’t risk losing it. Large backpack (60 liter) to carry all your gear. If you cannot bring a backpack a duffel bag that is comfortable to carry can be used. A bag with wheels should be avoided if possible. Small backpack (20-30 liter –school bag size with padded shoulder straps) to carry water bottle, jacket, hat, snacks, etc. during the day Water bottle of at least 1 liter capacity – filled with water! Sun hat – essential personal protection, we’re in the sun all day. Sunscreen (waterproof and sweat-proof w/ SPF 15 or higher is best) Sleeping bag and or Sleeping bag liner – You will be sleeping in a tent Sleeping mat or pad for inside the tent Training or running shoes for general activities Water shoes for water activities or Old training shoes that are OK to get wet and dirty 2 pairs long pants (trousers) – lightweight trousers or tracksuit pants are best. Jeans are NOT suitable. 2 long sleeved shirts 2 pair shorts 2 T-shirts Warm fleece or sweater Lightweight waterproof jacket Kayaking waterproof dry bag (10 liter) Underwear Bathing suit (board shorts and surf shirts are great to prevent sunburn) Towel (Lightweight & small size) Toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. - avoid highly perfumed items as they attract bugs) Any personal medication / sanitary items Insect repellant Headlight (it’s best as it keeps your hand free) / Torch / flashlight w/ extra batteries Clothes dry bags or Plastic bags for separating clean and wet/dirty clothes Notebook and pen Poncho – non-disposable (Optional) Camera – disposable and waterproof ones area great (Optional) Reusable sandwich container – Redeem your FREE lunchbox from the APA Outdoor Shop upon completing your enrolment form and presenting the PRINTED confirmation email.
