Structured Finance, a business area within Merchant Banking
at SEB, is now looking for an analyst to join the unit in
Stockholm.
About us
Structured Finance employs around 100 staff members and is
based in Stockholm, London, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Frankfurt,
Oslo and Singapore. The business area covers the areas of
corporate loan origination, acquisition fi nance, export fi nance,
venture capital and shipping fi nance.
This position will be part of the unit Structured Finance Loan
Origination. The unit is responsible for originating, structuring
and distribution of syndicated loans and other credit facilities
for SEB’s corporate and institutional clients in the Nordic
countries, Germany and the Baltics. The team currently
comprises 20 professionals based in Stockholm, Oslo,
Frankfurt, Helsinki and London.
Your assignment
Your daily work normally entails being a member of various
transaction teams. As an analyst you will be involved in
fi nancial modelling, preparation of marketing documents
and presentations, drafting and commenting on internal
documents and memos in support of internal approval
processes. In addition, you may from time to time conduct
research of various prospective clients, industries, ratings
reports and information related to the international bank
and debt markets.
Your profi le
You have a genuine interest in the fi nancial markets, possess
strong analytical skills, thrive on taking active part in a team
eff ort to tailor fi nancing solutions for our clients and enjoy
interacting in the marketing to our clients. Our transactions
are sometimes complex and require large eff orts within a short
time frame. Therefore you would be required to cope with high
work load and time pressure from time to time. You have good
communication skills and enjoy working in projects with various
transaction teams.
In addition you have
• University degree with a major in accounting and fi nance.
• Good computer skills, preferably some previous knowledge
of fi nancial modelling and fi nancial analysis.
• Interest and knowledge in legal matters is an advantage.
The job will over time require more extensive legal knowledge
• Fluency in Swedish and English. Additional relevant language
skills will be given credit.
