Omaxa respiratory apparatus

intended to filter out urban pollution and give its user a breath of clean air.Designing an everyday mask, that will (in the near future) become a necessary protective accessory, in a fashionable way -

much like sunglasses.Although the mask is disposable it does contain a reseal able flap that opens enabling the user to talk or take a sip of water.The mask is made out of a PHBV non woven fabric —

which is a natural polymer that doesn’t cause skin irritation and is biodegradable.

Acalculated mistakeallowing the characteristics of the material to state the form the final product. This was accomplished by forming a weak mould into which melted polypropylene plastic was poured. The nature and mass of this material caused the mould to collapse in certain areas and by doing so dictated the appearance, structure and individuality of the finished object.

Creating products and concepts which have significance, necessity and value in a world already overflowing with commodities. Education 2003-2006 graduated with honors Industrial Design from “Hadassah College Jerusalem” 1992-1995 graduated “Hof Carmel Regional High School” majoring in art and English. Work experience 2006-2008 - d-Vision c/o Keter Plastic: industrial designer at Keter R&D center. Involved predominantly on one or more projects for the plastic industry. Working as a part of a team through initial ideation. Refining research, concepts and CAD development stages. This also involved hand sketching and modeling for concept visualization. Other work included creating presentations for clients and graphic work. 2002-2006 - Suron: designer assistant Worked together with Liat Poysner, designer of an exclusive range of light fixtures, produced by the process of photo etching of stainless steel. The characteristics of the product takes the technology to the very edge of its ability,

thus demanding sensitivity, accuracy and utmost patience. A full knowledge and understanding of the photo etching process is essential. Areas of responsibility include assembly of the products, quality control, management of orders and inventory. 1999 — 2000 — Airtours - Sun Cruises: Photographer Worked as a social photographer in a holiday resort in Majorca and on a cruise ship traveling the Caribbean islands. Duties included taking pictures of the holidaymakers as well as developing the prints in the on board laboratory and selling them in the photo shop. Born and educated on a kibbutz meant that I have had experience in a variety of work branches from a young age. This has provided me with many different work capabilities and ethics. Other experience 2008 — Worked as part of the team that designed and set up the ouTable exhibition by d-Vision at Salonesatellite Fiera Milano. 2006 — Assisting with the design and set up of a light exhibition by Liat Poysner at the Periscope Gallery, Tel Aviv. 2006 — As part of a scholarship program, worked as a mentor in a computer clubhouse for youth at risk aiding them with different computer assignments and program understanding.
