A VESTA client, with a stellar safety record and documented safety protocol was looking to provide their plant staff a more modern shower/locker room environment and break area. Additionally, they had a need for a small amount of office space and a secure file room. This client had a very tight time line and stringent budget for this project that would provide approximately 5300 square feet of additional space to their existing facility. They started the project research with a traditional site built design in mind; however, their findings indicated that traditional construction was not going to meet the time line or budget. Our team was contacted to evaluate whether modular construction could provide the solution for the client’s needs .VESTA went to work on a value engineered design and rolled up its sleeves to provide a space solution. The result was a spacious men’s and women’s locker room with ceramic tile, full size lockers and high-end fixtures and a large break area for the staff. The project was started in August 2017 and the 5300 sf addition was completed 120 days later on time and on budget.
