Marsovin, Malta
Produced entirely from hand picked grapes harvested in family owned vineyards in
Gozo, this medium bodied dry white wine has aromas and flavours of a citrus and green
fruit character of lemons, limes and apples. It has a refreshing acidity that is in balance
with the fruit flavours.
2. Victoria Heights Chardonnay (Gozo D.O.K.)
Delicata, Malta
A soft, fruity full flavoured dry white wine produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes
grown in the valley vineyards of Gozo. The result is an attractive, slightly honeyed barrel
matured white wine full of character and subtle flavours.
3. Onyx Chardonnay, (Marsalforn Valley, Isle of Gozo)

This Chardonnay has a full bodied Mediterranean character with hints of mature
pineapple and mango. Intense with a very good aftertaste structure.
4. Antonin Blanc (Gozo D.O.K.)
Marsovin, Malta
A barrel fermented wine produced from Chardonnay grapes from the Ramla Valley
Estate in Gozo. Aromas of vanilla, burnt toast, and buttery notes combine well with the
Chardonnay grape’s fruity character of crisp citrus and green apples on the palate. It is
full, smooth and round in the mouth and, whilst retaining a fruity Chardonnay character,
the subtle nuance of oak adds finesse and complexity.

6. Cittadella White (Maltese Islands I.G.T.)
Marsovin, Malta
This is a light, easy drinking white wine blended from the indigenous Girgentina and
Chardonnay grape variety. It has a true Southern Mediterranean flavour with pleasantly
fresh, floral and fruity aromas reminiscent of ripe apples, citrus; lemon and a lingering
almondy finish.

11. Gran Vin de Hautville Viognier D.O.K

An elegant, full flavoured white wine with good weight and intensity made entirely from
the Viognier grape variety. It has an aromatic, fruity aroma with soft spicy flavours on

12. Gran Cavalier Sauvignon Blanc D.O.K.
Delicata, Malta
A tropical fruit flavoured, dry white wine produced entirely from Malta grown
Sauvignon Blanc grapes hand picked from individual pocket sized vineyards. Before
pressing, the grapes are left in contact with the skins to extract maximum flavour and
varietal characteristics. The result is this full flavoured, rich, delicious Sauvignon Blanc.
13. Isis Chardonnay D.O.K.
Meridiana Wines, Malta
Made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, Isis is characterised by fresh, natural, tropical
fruit flavours. The name Isis recalls the Phoenician goddess of sailors whose vigilant eye
still graces the prow of the Maltese fishing luzzu.
Italian White Wines
14. Soave - Zenato, Veneto
The characteristics of this wine are its delicate flavour and bouquet. A hint of almonds
and a lightly bitter finish contribute to its personality. Its hallmarks are its harmony and
its delicate perfumes and aromas.
15. Gavi – Broglia, Piedmont
A straw yellow colour. Persistent and floral bouquet, distinctive of great wines. On the
palate it is soft while the balanced acidity highlights the freshness.
16. Gavi di Gavi – Broglia, Piedmont
This wine is characterised by its straw yellow colour with pale green reflections. It has a
pleasant intensive aroma with a trace of white fruit and light spices of excellent
refinement.
17. Greco di Tufo - Feudi di San Gregorio, Campania
The aroma is intense and persistent. On the nose distinct fruity essence from the sweet
notes of French green plums to the crunchy freshness of the local “Mast' Antuono” pear.
18. Falanghina Serrocielo – Feudi di San Gregorio, Campania
The color is straw yellow containing brilliant green reflections. There are sharp sensations
of delicate white flowers and fruit. On the palate, there is freshness and softness.
19. Inzolia Tenuta dell’ Abate – Lissandrello, Sicilia
This wine is typically Mediterranean offering aromas of citrus fruits and orange blossom.
On the palate it is fresh whilst savoury and is ideal to drink as an aperitif.
French White Wines
20. ‘La Croix Bacalan’ Bordeaux Blanc, Cordier
Semillon 60%, Sauvignon Blanc 40%. On the nose, Semillon varietal gives out smells of
pear and white flowers with scents of grapefruits and peach which are typical to
Sauvignon varietal. On the palate, it is round, fresh and long lasting, mainly offering
aromas of white flesh fruits.
21. Sancerre - Sauvion, Loire Valley
Pale yellow in colour with some silver highlights. Offering aromas of broom plant, jasmine, acacia
and boxtree. Extremely aromatic on the palate, dry but full-bodied.
22. Pouilly-Fume - Sauvion, Loire Valley
Yellow green in colour. Offering aromas such as broom plant, box tree, citrus fruits, lily, rose and
nut. A dry wine with a rich finish.
23. Chablis – Antonin Rodet, Burgundy
This excellent Chablis combines ripeness of fruit with a refreshing tingle. Ideal as a
partner for shellfish, seafood or white meats. Shows crisp green apple and citrus flavours
with subtle cream and fresh acidity.

A bright, rose petal colour with delicate aromas of banana and red fruits. The wine is
round and smooth with a fresh vivacity that balances the sweetness and refreshes the

This outstanding Richland Pinot Grigio was produced from fruit of the highest quality.
Pale straw in colour, this wine displays clean and fragrant grassy aromas of pear and
apple fruits. A soft richly textured finish combine to make an ideal food wine.
28. Riesling – Cool Climate Series, Eden Valley, Westend
The Reisling is made with the gentlest of handling preserving the delicate fruit flavours.
Harvested in the cool of the night, the fruit is gently destemmed, crushed and pressed in
an air bag press. The juice is cold settled and using only the clear juice is fermented
slowly at cool temperatures until dry. The wine is then carefully stabilized and filtered
before bottling, ensuring all the fruit flavours are captured.
29. Chardonnay - 3 Bridges, Westend Wines, South Eastern
3 Bridges Chardonnay is a fine example of a great Australian Chardonnay. Vibrant straw
yellow in colour, this wine is generous with ripe fruit and nutty aromas. Creamy yeast,
subtle oak and mouth filling, buttery characters combine with melon and stone fruit to
reveal a well structured and flavoursome wine. Finishing long on the palate, this wine
will gain added depth and complexity with cellaring.
30. Hardys VR Sauvignon Blanc, South Australia
This VR Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp and refreshing wine with flavours of passionfruit and
gooseberry, complemented by a citrus finish.
31. Moscato – Yellow Tail, Casella Wines, Riverina, South Eastern
Moscato is delicious. There is nothing like that light, perky fizz and natural raciness to
make things feel good. Freshness is key and this Moscato has it in spades. Crushed green
grapes, hints of peach and a little lift of tropical fruits to round out the soft palate but the
real hero is the delicate 'frizzante' bubbles. A big win.
Chilean White Wines
32. Sauvignon Blanc - Reserva Santa Helena, Vina Santa Helena, Central Valley
Straw-coloured with green tones. On the nose, pineapple and citrus aromas combine with
floral and herbal notes. Good volume on the palate and balanced acidity. Fruit aromas
combine with citric notes on the palate. Good final persistence.
33. Castillo de Molina’ Chardonnay - Viña San Pedro
It presents intense toast, toffee and lactic notes, framed by a delicate and elegant fruit.
This is a round, medium-bodied wine.

the valley vineyards of Gozo. These selected pocket sized family run vineyards growing

45. Victoria Heights Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc (Gozo D.O.K.)
Delicata, Malta
A classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc that has been softened in
French oak barriques. A full bodied wine with ripe fruit flavours and warm mellow
tannins. These Gozo grown Cabernet grapes show good varietal characteristics and
produce an easy drinking style of red wine.
46. Dionysius Syrah Cabernet (Gozo D.O.K. Superior)
Bacchus Winery, Gozo
These two grapes are hand-picked and selected from the minuscule vineyards scattered
across Gozo, processed into wines and very carefully nurtured till maturation. The
Dionysius Syrah and Cabernet is a rich blend of the Syrah and Cabernet grapes which
results in the rich strong red wine. A robust, slightly velvety, purplish wine. A perfect
accompaniment to game, strong cheese and spicy dishes.
47. ‘Herez’ Riserva Ahmar (Marsalforn Valley, Gozo)

chocolaty note.

This Gold medal winning full-bodied and robust barrel matured Malta grown Cabernet
Sauvignon with a proven track record offers true classical varietal character derived from
selected hand picked grapes. A sweet, fruity nose, flows into a simple palate filled with
light black fruits. Good length and an elegant finish.
53. Gran Cavalier Syrah D.O.K.
Delicata, Malta
A rich, robust, velvety red wine produced entirely from Malta grown grapes hand picked
from individual pocket sized vineyards. This gamey style of hot climate Syrah has been
matured and softened in French oak barriques. This wine may contain a natural sediment
deposited as a result of its ageing process. Ideally stand the wine upright for some time
before serving or decanting.
54. Marnisi D.O.K.
Marsovin, Malta
Marnisi is a highly tannic, robust red wine expressive of terrior characteristics made with
a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc from the Marnisi Estate. This
wine has a deep colour intensity, an aroma of black fruit character with oak barrique
maturation and complex hints of leather, smoke and spice, giving a longer ageing
potential.
55. Cheval Franc D.O.K.
Marsovin, Malta
A medium-bodied wine, with a peppery herbaceous aroma, typical of the Cabernet Franc
variety, which dominates this wine.
56. Melqart D.O.K.
Meridiana Wines, Malta
Made from an artful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, Melqart is
characterised by ripe berry flavours which are enhanced by careful maturation in
barrique. The name Melqart recalls the Phoenician god of sailors worshipped in Malta
during the Punic period.

Primus is characterized by a deep ruby purple colour and an intense aromatic bouquet.
Lingering aromas of dried fruits and amarena cherries marrying well with new French
oak barrel flavours of vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg leaving a velvety off dry finish.
Italian Red Wines
58. Valpolicella - Zenato, Veneto
A pleasant, youthful wine which give off delicate fragrances reminiscent of almonds and
violets. The taste is dry and soft with good structure.
59. Valpolicella Ripassa – Zenato, Veneto
The production of this wine is strictly related to that of Amarone: after Amarone is
finished fermenting, the pomace of the dried grapes used to produce it is joined with the
Valpolicella fermented just after the October harvest. This second fermentation raises the
alcohol and gives the wine deeper colour, richer body and aromas. After bottle-ageing, it
is ready to be enjoyed. Deep ruby red, it offers rich, elegant, lingering scents; it is crisp
and dry in the mouth, well structured, with a lovely, velvety texture.
60. Barolo, Enrique Serafino (Piemonte)
Nebbiolo. Aged for 3 years, 2 of which in oak casks. Robust texture and perfect tannic
balance, smooth, elegant and superior.
61. Le Orme’ Barbera D’Asti Michele Chiarlo (Piemonte)
Barbera. Pleasantly easy to drink, harmonious and tasty. A modern wine with a red
berry and a slight cherry note.
62. Chianti Classico – Carpineto, Tuscany
Its bouquet is clean with hints of violets, berries and cherries. It has a velvety, well-
rounded, full bodied flavour.
63. ‘Palio’ Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Citra Vini (Abruzzo)
Montepulciano. Complex and intense, sour cherry, plum and mulberry standing out
from the scents. Round, powerful and full-bodied, endowed with smooth tannins and a
pleasant and persistent finish.
64. Nero d’Avolo - Feudo d’Arancia, Sicily
Deep ruby red in colour. On the palate this wine offers hints of red berries and cranberry.
With a soft, and delicate aftertaste. With a persistent finish, intense and with a velvety
tannin.
French Red Wines
65. Cotes du Rhone Grand Veneur ‘Reserve’– Alain Juame, Burgandy
The colour is purple-tinged garnet, offering aromatic scent on the nose from fresh berries
(wild raspberry, blackcurrant & blackberry) to spices. The palate is big and full-flavoured,
with silky-smooth and tannic aromas of the fruit already mentioned with a liquorice and
pepper finish.
66. ‘Chateau Jacques’ Beaujolais Villages, Louis Jadot
Gamay. Delicious aromas of fruits and delicate freshness of Beaujolais Villages.
67. Saint Emillion Grand Cru, Bordeaux
This wine is made using a traditional wine-making process in barrels. Its colour shows an
intense and brilliant garnet-red robe with pinkish hues and its delicacy, complexity and
persistency show a persistent nose with aromas of red berries and vanilla. This wine is
supple on the mouth and is well-balanced with notes of candied fruit.
Spanish Red Wines
68. Rioja Crianza – Alba de Luces
Excellent bouquet of ripe fruit with gentle hints of wood, caramel and coconut. Long,
fruity after-taste, which becomes more complex the longer it remains in bottle.
Argentinean Red Wines
69. ’Passo Doble’ Malbec-Corvina, Masi Tupungato, Masi
Attractive bouquet of cherries and vegetal tinges on the nose. Good acidity on the palate,
well balanced with soft tannins.
Australian Red Wines
70. Pinot Noir – Cool Climate Series, Tumbarumba, Westend
The light bodied palate of ripe cherry plums is silky and savoury and well supported by
nutmeg, cinnamon, and earthy spices from toasty French oak. Smooth with gentle fine-
grained tannins and a clean fruit finish.
71. Shiraz Viognier – Willunga 100, McLaren Vale
Deep ruby in colour with purple tints. On the nose it is lifted and perfumed with a touch
of peachiness coming through from the Viognier and plenty of juicy, smoky bramble fruit
from the Shiraz. Well structured with smooth, ripe tannins and great depth.
72. Grenache – Willunga 100, McLaren Vale
Full bright red with purple hue. Intense, dark red fruit and well-integrated cedar and
toasty oak. A more intense vintage than the 2005, with darker fruit character and a more
weighty structure.
73. Aglianico – Calabria, Private Bin, Riverina
The Calabria Aglianico is a bright cherry colour showing black cherry and ripe plum fruit
aromas with savoury coffee and smokey notes. Its broody complexity, round body and
savoury Italian-esque tannins make for a classy, elegant wine.
74. Richland Cabernet Sauvignon – Westend Estate Wines, Riverina
The deep purple colour is accentuated by vibrant red hues. This Cabernet Sauvignon is
an attractive fruit driven red, with a full bouquet of sweet berries and violets
complemented by subtle French oak. The ripe berry characters flow smoothly onto the
palate, combining with spices and vanilla oak and soft chewy tannins.
75. Hardys VR Shiraz, South Australia
Well-rounded with flavours of sweet ripe plum and red berries that are complemented by
subtle spice on the finish.
76. Layers, Peter Lehmann, Barossa Valley
Shiraz 46%, Mourvèdre 20%, Grenache 15%, Tempranillo 17% and Carignane 2%.
Aromas of dark plum, chocolate and savoury black olive. The palate is a soft mouthful
of forest fruits with wild bramble undertones and a fine stylish finish.
77. Duriff - 3 Bridges, Westend Estates, South Eastern
3 Bridges Duriff is an intense deep purple colour with a vibrant purple hue. It displays an
aromatic blood plum and dark chocolate nose. The full bodied palate of ripe blackberries,
plums and chocolate is supported by toasty American oak contributing vanillin and
coconut. The palate is rich with a big tannic mouthfeel combined with sweet fruit and
warm alcohol. This wine is perfect to drink now but will age in the medium to long term.
Chilean Red Wines
78. Merlot ‘Reserva’ - Santa Helena, Vina Santa Helena, Colchagua Valley
Deep violet red in colour. On the nose, plum and ripe red fruit aromas are detected, as
well as hints of spices and vanilla. Medium-bodied and well-structured. Sweet tannins,
jam aromas and toasted notes are detected on the palate. Prolonged final persistence.
79. Shiraz ‘Reserva’ – Santa Helena Vina Santa Helena, Colchagua Valley
Beet red to purple in color; nose of prunes, jammy strawberry preserves and earthy
spices; very rich and full-bodied, long persitent finish.
80. Carmenere - 35 South, Vina San Pedro
A wide well bodied wine with sweet tannins. A pleasant finish, giving off sweetness and
touches of oak.
81. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah – Sol de Chile, Villa Alegre, Maule Valley
This is an intense, complex wine with aromas of roses, cherries, berries and fig. In the
mouth it has a very good structure, with firm tannins, fresh black fruit, and a smoky,
spicy character A great match to red meats, lamb, strong and mature cheeses.
82. Cabernet Sauvignon - Casillero del Diablo, Central Valley
Casillero del Diablo Reserva is an assemblage elaborated mainly from Cabernet
Sauvignon grapes selected from Pirque vineyards, place of origin of Casillero del Diablo
in the Maipo Valley and a contribution of Syrah grapes. These varieties blend in an
exclusive product, boosting each of its qualities in a perfect mixture of fruit, power and
delicacy.
South African Red Wines

85. Syrah – Tinpot Hut, Hawke’s Bay
A ruby red wine with violet highlights. On the nose there are aromas of white and black
pepper, red and black berry fruits and a subtle chocolate and leather spiciness. On the
palate the wine is plummy, with pepper and cinnamon notes. It has a firm acid backbone
with silky tannins and lots of ripe fruit on the finish

Gellewza Frizzante is Malta’s original ‘Lifestyle’ Rose wine made entirely from the
unique indigenous white grape variety Gellewza. This delicious semi-sparkling medium
dry wine is bursting with ripe fruity flavours with delicate strawberry bouquet followed
by a creamy rich mouthful of ‘fizz and fruit’.
87. Prosecco Extra Dry – Villa Jolanda
Sparkling wine, brilliant straw- yellow colour and a fine and persistent perlage. The
bouquet reveals flowery notes and scents of fresh fruit. The taste is fresh, inviting with
fruity notes, a splendid aperitif, ideal with any meal.
88. Cassar de Malte, Marsovin, Malta
Malta’s only Brut created entirely using the ‘Methode Traditionnelle’. It owes its
character and finesse to the Chardonnay grapes harvested in the Wardija Valley Estate
and to a minimum of 12 to 24 months maturing on the yeast lees in the bottle. Its bouquet
is typically complex with lingering floral and fruity notes. It is invitingly rich, full in taste
and complemented by its pleasant natural sparkle.
Sweet Wines 89. Gran vin de Hautville Moscato D.O.K., Delicata, Malta
A rich, sweet, delicious, golden liquer wine, which is the perfect accompaniment to most
desserts. This opulent, concentrated wine is produced entirely from Malta grown, hand
harvested Moscato grapes and has a wonderful marmalade flavour with scents of honey
and butterscotch.
90. 3 Bridges Botrytis Semillion
An elegant bouquet of pineapple, marmalade & botrytis characters. Luscious palate of
peach & citrus flavours combines with botrytis sweetness, finishing with a slight touch of
refreshing acidity.
91. ‘Nivole’ Moscato d’Asti, Michele Chiarlo, Piemonte, Italy
Smooth and delicate. The finish is characterised by fresh and lively notes that make it
inviting and never nauseating. It is best to drink within 2 years of the harvest.
92. Guze Passito, Marsovin, Malta
Guze passito is a naturally sweet, intense and complex red wine produced from partially
raisened, locally grown Shiraz grapes. Guze is reminiscent of intense black fruit,
chocolate aromas with sweet, spicy jammy prune flavours. Delicious with cheese, game
and chocolate-based dessert. Guze is dedicated to the former chairman of Marsovin,
Joseph Cassar affectionately known as Sur Guzi.
Champagne
93. Tsarine Cuvee Premium Brut
Delicate bubbles reflecting hints of green and gold. On the nose lime flowers and lemon
balm mingle with notes of bitter orange and quince. In the mouth fresh with an elegant
crisp acidity. Medium body. Dominant notes of citrus fruits combine with white peach
and raisin. Long length with a clean refreshing finish showing hints of red berry fruit.
