Covid-19

The Mackay Show in 2021 will be a Covid safe event. All patrons attending the grounds will need to sign in as per Queensland Health regulations. Ticketing to the event may be limited and it is advised to purchase tickets online prior. Pre sell tickets also available at the Showgrounds office. Attendees may use the Check-in QLD app which can be downloaded from your smart phone and details completed prior to arrival. QR code will then need to be scanned as you enter. Alternatively, please find a sign in questionnaire on our website which can be downloaded and completed prior to arrival and placed in box at the gate entry. You will need to do this each day of attendance.

Rules & Regulations

1. All Queensland competitors must be members of the Queensland Axemen’s Association (QAA)

2. All Woodchop events will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the respective Show Society

3. Late nominations will be returned as per the rules of the Q.A.A.

4. All nominations to be written and lodged with the Mackay Show Association by Friday 7th May – No Third Parties

5. All nominations paid by mail please enclose a self-addressed envelope for passes

6. The Committee reserves the right to limit entries in any event or cancel any event

• All Axemen to receive one (1) entry pass for Wednesday and Thursday ONLY

• Block size will depend on availability at time and could be changed without notice

• No Vehicle Access during showtime
