Tennessee is a Tax Friendly State. – Many advantages to storing equipment in Tennessee, with some of the lowest

Property Taxes in the country.

– Tax breaks on equipment with an Out-of-state origin and an Out-of-state destination. Tennessee Code 67-6-313 (a)

• This equipment by definition is considered In-Transit.• In-Transit in Tennessee has no time limitations. (could be 3 years and still In-Transit.)

As long as the final destination is outside Tennessee• If destination changes to inside Tennessee, back taxes will apply.
