Joseph and Eleanor DiRaimondo of Manitowoccelebrated their 50th wedding anniversary duringa weekend of festivities held in their honor in June.

Joseph and Eleanor were married on August 25,1962 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic churchin Syosset, NY.They lived in St. Louis, MO,Madison,WI, and New Hyde Park, NY before moving toManitowoc in 1972. The couple’s entire family wastogether to celebrate this special anniversary.

Their children are Sandi (James) Matthewsof Nacogdoches, TX; Carl (Sue) DiRaimondoof Manitowoc, Linda (Patrick) DiRaimondo ofMadison, WI; Carol (Keith) DiRaimondo-Decker ofFranklin, WI; and Gail (Michael) DiRaimondo of LosAngeles, CA. Joseph and Eleanor also have fivegrandchildren: Jade, Will, Katie, Abe, and Cleo.

50th Anniversary

Leon andMarlene Strutz celebrated 50 years ofmarriageon Saturday, September 1st, 2012.Marlene (Ringmeier) and Leon Strutz were married onSeptember 1st, 1962 at St John’s Evangelical LutheranChurch, Two Rivers. The Rev. Theodore F. Sternofficiated.Children of the couple are Kevin (Jessica), Sheboygan;Russel (Karen), Two Creeks; Leah, Manitowoc; Nathan(Kate), Fond du Lac; Rachel, Milwaukee. Grandchildrenare Mason, Marissa, Makaela, Caelib, and Isaiah Strutz,Nicole, Meghan, Ryan, and Cameron Strutz, Kirsten,Amy Ellen (deceased), and Samuel Strutz, and Noahand Lily Strutz.Leon and Marlene are lifelong dairy farmers in thetown of Two Creeks. Over the years Leon has enjoyedbowling and serving on St. John’s Church Council andMLHS Board of Control. Leon also served 8 years withthe Army National Guard. Marlene enjoys dartball andthe Dorcas Society.Their pride and joy are spending time with theirchildren and grandchildren attending all their sportingand musical events.A family celebration was held at Machut’s SupperClub, Two Rivers. The family will be attending the10 AM church service at St. John’s Evangelical LutheranChurch, Two Rivers, on Sunday, September 2nd.
