HONORING THOSE WHO SACRIFICED FOR WHAT

WE HAVE TODAY

Remember

These men and women died for their dreams and values.

What was it that Jesus was

willing to sacrifice for?

Jesus died for his Church as

much as he died for your salvation

As we honor those who have died for their country… let us honor Jesus who died for his church.

As we honor those who have died for their country… let us honor Jesus who died for his church.

Matthew 16:13On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.

Ephesians 5:21-27

Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her with the washing with water through the word, and to present himself as a radiant church.

What were his dreams and

vision for the Church?

If we look through

scripture and see what he

says then we will know his

dream

Ephesians 1:22-23

God appointed him head over _______________ for the Churcheverything

Ephesians 1:22-23

The Church is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Ephesians 1:22-2322 God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. 23 And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself.

Ephesians 1:22-23

The body: living Christianity, connection, teamwork, partnership, trust, respect and intimacy.

Ephesians 3:1010His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

James 3:1717But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness

1 timothy 3:1414Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that, 15if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

Ephesians 5:21-27

Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her with the washing with water through the word, and to present himself as a radiant church.
