1. Introducción

A continuación se muestra el procedimiento de análisis estructural

llevado a cabo para el Hospital Regional Lic. Adolfo López Mateos

localizado en Av. Universidad No. 1321, Colonia Florida, Delegación

Álvaro Obregón, México D.F., C.P. 01030.

El inmueble es un hospital que consta de 6 niveles y un sótano. La

estructura del edificio consta de columnas y trabes de concreto con un

sistema de piso de losa maciza.

En el análisis de la estructura se consideran las acciones accidentales y

permanentes a las que está sometida. El análisis del inmueble se realizó

conforme al Reglamento de Construcciones del Distrito Federal 2004

(RCDF, 2004), de sus respectivas Normas Técnicas Complementarias. En

las siguientes figuras se muestran las plantas del proyecto así como los

marcos que conforman la estructura.

2. Análisis de cargas

En cuanto a las acciones permanentes y accidentales, a continuación se

hace un desglose de cargas. En relación a las cargas muertas y vivas

típicas de estructuras convencionales, se hizo uso de lo estipulado en las

Normas Técnicas Complementarias sobre Criterios y Acciones para el

Diseño Estructural de las Edificaciones (2004). Dentro de este contexto,

se consideran dos tipos de cargas gravitacionales, una permanente que

considera el peso propio de la estructura, acabados y elementos no-

estructurales (cargas muertas), y otra que considera las cargas

transitorias que obran en el inmueble durante su ocupación (cargas

vivas).

2.1 Cargas muertas

Las cargas muertas consideradas son las que se indican a continuación:

durante el proceso de análisis estructural del inmueble.

3.1 Propiedades de los materiales

En la siguiente tabla se presentan las características de los materiales

empleados para los elementos estructurales del modelo de análisis

3.2 Condiciones de carga y cargas totales en la estructura

Se consideraron 7 condiciones independientes de carga, 5 de ellas

estáticas y 2 dinámicas, a continuación se muestran las condiciones

empleadas:

A partir del modelo de análisis se calcularon los pesos en la estructura.

Los resultados totales de pesos en la estructura son los que se muestran

en la Tabla 9.

3.4 Análisis dinámico

Para el análisis por sismo se adoptaron las especificaciones de las

Normas Técnicas Complementarias Diseño por Sismo (NTCS 2004). En la

Figura 9 se muestra la ubicación del predio en el mapa de

regionalización sísmica del D.F., por lo que el inmueble se ubica en la

zona II (de transición). Respecto a lo anterior los parámetros que definen

el espectro de diseño, así como sus respectivas gráficas se muestran en

la Figura 10.

De acuerdo a la geometría del inmueble se definió el factor de

irregularidad, asignándose un valor de 0.8.

3.5.1Distorsiones de entrepiso

De acuerdo al Reglamento de Construcción del Distrito Federal, en las Normas Técnicas Complementarias para Diseño por Sismo (NTCM, 2004) en su sección 1.8, las distorsiones laterales cuando no existen elementos incapaces de soportar deformaciones apreciables, como muros de mampostería, serán de 0.012. Del análisis estructural se obtuvo que los desplazamientos y distorsiones de entrepiso son las siguientes para la dirección X y Y, respectivamente:

Los valores anteriores son menores que el máximo permisible por el

RCDF (RCDF, 2004) y las NTC correspondientes (NTC, 2004). Dentro de

este contexto, la estructura cumple con las limitaciones establecidas. En

Por lo tanto no se hacen modificaciones en ningún sentido.

4. Diseño estructural

4.1 Revisión de columnas de concreto

Para el diseño de las columnas de concreto se aplican las Normas

Técnicas Complementarias para Diseño de Estructuras de Concreto

(NTCC-2004).

1. Sección 2.1. El cálculo de diagramas de interacción de columnas se

hace bajo la suposición de las siguientes hipótesis de diseño:

a) La distribución de formaciones unitarias longitudinales en la

sección transversal de un elemento es plana.

b) Existe adherencia entre el concreto y el acero de tal manera que

la deformación unitaria del acero es igual a la del concreto

adyacente.

c) El concreto no resiste esfuerzos de tensión.

d) La deformación unitaria del concreto en compresión cuando

alcanza la resistencia de la sección es de 0.003.

e) La distribución de esfuerzos de compresión en el concreto, cuando

alcanza la resistencia de la sección, es uniforme.

2. Sección 2.3. Además de las hipótesis mostradas anteriormente, en el

diseño de columnas también es válido emplearse la siguiente

expresión.

Donde PR es la carga normal resistente de diseño aplicada con

excentricidades ex y ey; PR0 es la carga axial resistente de diseño

suponiendo ex=ey=0; PRx es la carga normal resistente de diseño

aplicada a una excentricidad ex en un plano de simetría; y PRy es la

carga normal resistente de diseño aplicada a una excentricidad ey en un

plano de simetría.

La ecuación anterior es válida sólo en casos en los que PR/PR0 es mayor o

igual que 0.1. En caso contrario se debe utilizar la siguiente expresión:

Donde Mux y Muy son los momentos de diseño alrededor de los ejes X y Y;

y MRx y MRy son los momentos resistentes alrededor de los ejes X y Y.

A partir de los resultados de análisis estructural se determinaron los

armados mínimos necesarios de las columnas. En la siguiente figura se

muestra la numeración de columnas del nivel de sótano. En la Tabla 12 se

muestran los resultados de las demandas máximas de diseño para las

columnas.

4.2 Revisión de trabes de concreto

El diseño de las trabes y losas se hizo conforme al Reglamento de

Construcciones del D.F. 2004, de las Normas Técnicas Complementarias

para Diseño y Construcción de Estructuras de Concreto y de las Normas

Técnicas Complementarias para Diseño de Cimentaciones.

En modelo de análisis, las trabes fueron idealizadas como elementos

viga-columna, a las cuales se les asignaron las propiedades

equivalentes. El modelo aquí implementado permite el diseño simple de

los elementos de concreto.

4.2.1Resistencia a flexión

Sub-sección 2.2b para el cálculo de la resistencia a flexión de secciones

rectangulares con acero de compresión.

donde MR es la resistencia de diseño a flexión de la sección con acero de

compresión; FR es el factor de reducción de resistencia igual a 0.9; a es

la profundidad del bloque de esfuerzos; As es el área de acero a tensión;

As’ es el área de acero a compresión; d’ es la distancia entre el acero a

compresión y la fibra extrema a compresión del concreto; b es el ancho

de la sección de concreto; y f’’c magnitud del bloque equivalente de

esfuerzos del concreto.

Respecto a lo anterior, la determinación de la resistencia a flexión se

hace bajo las hipótesis de que las secciones planas permanecen planas

después de la aplicación de fuerzas. Se considera que el concreto no

resiste tensiones y de que la distribución de deformaciones es lineal en

el acero y concreto (Figura 14).

4.2.2Resistencia a corte

Sub-sección 2.5 para el cálculo de la resistencia a corte de secciones

rectangulares.

donde Vcr es la resistencia de diseño de la sección de concreto; FR es el

factor de reducción de resistencia igual a 0.8; b es el ancho de la sección

de concreto; d es el peralte efectivo de la sección de concreto; es la

cuantía de acero a tensión de la sección de concreto; y f*c es la

resistencia nominal del concreto.

Del análisis se tiene para la trabe T-1 que los momentos máximos son +40 Ton-m y -59 Ton-m; y el cortante máximo es de 20 Ton.

Del análisis se tiene para la trabe T-2 que los momentos máximos son +38 Ton-m y -28 Ton-m; y el cortante máximo es de 18 Ton.

5. Conclusiones

A partir del análisis estructural realizado del Hospital Regional Lic. Adolfo

López Mateos se tienen las siguientes conclusiones:

De acuerdo con las deformaciones obtenidas a partir del análisis

dinámico, se obtuvo que las distorsiones de entrepiso son

aceptables y se presentan problemas.

Es necesario realizar un análisis más detallado para conocer el

estado actual de la estructura (armado de columnas y trabes de

concreto).
