Mission Statement The focus is on collaborating, connecting, idea exchanging, working together for mutual success and growing both
professionally as well as personally.
The Business Women's Network of York Region was created to bring business women of all types together so that they can build their businesses. We launched in April 2014 with 40 Members and we currently have a Membership of 182. "Look in the Book" is to educate people to look in our Directory for your needs... We have it. We are a resource for your needs! Trusted Referrals, women building their businesses and having fun enjoying being a woman! 21 Events in 12 Months – we build and strengthen both our business health and personal skills – networking to learn best practices! Each of the Monthly Events have had attendance around 50 women giving them the opportunity to meet others and let them know what they do so that they will become word-of-mouth referrals for you! Thank you to our Directors' and Chairs who over the last year have helped to develop these roles and to our 20+ Volunteers who are eager to help out. I look forward to another year of bringing women together in an old-fashioned way, realizing that we are women and having fun with that, together as we tune-up business skills. We concentrate on aspects of a business plan while developing relationships so that we can do business together. We have amazing business women in York Region. We look forward to learning more about their businesses in
the future !!
