Be mesmerised. Sound you can feel. Before you read on to see what’s in store for 2016 we have one small favour to ask. As you flick through the pages, please consider the whole year of music a Season Ticket brings you. What are the advantages of a Season Ticket? Glad you asked. Not only will you have a year of thrilling afternoons out to look forward to, we’ll also spoil you with benefits reserved for our favourite audience members – Our Season Ticket holders. You may not think you’re the Season Ticket type, but why not? Check out the advantages and think again.

Only a full orchestra can match the thrilling tones of a Theatre Pipe Organ in full voice.

They were introduced as substitutes for orchestras in the 1920’s to accompany silent movies. Talking pictures in glittering movie palaces changed the role of these organs to become solo instruments which generated a mood of excited expectancy in eager cinema patrons.

The Theatre Organ is a Pipe Organ in the real sense, with row after row of pipes (known as ranks) replicating the voices of brass, woodwind and strings in a blend of delicious sounds – powerful enough to lift the roof one minute, fading to a tranquil quietness the next.
