Gamete
A gamete is either a male or female sex cell.
These are produced in their respective sex organs.
A female only produces these cells once, but a male continues making these cells forever.
Fertilization
Fertilization is the fusion of male and female gametes.
This happens through sex (and pollination)
When this happens a baby is made (or a seed)
Zygote
A zygote is the diploid cell formed when a sperm fertilizes an egg.
The term literally means joined or yoked.
This only happens in sexual reproduction
Pollination
Pollination occurs when the male reproductive organs in a plant transfer pollen to the female reproductive organ in a different plant (usually in the same species)
This is usually done through bees and butterfly's
This enables the plant to be fertilized
