Then the boot issealedunderneathbyapatentedprocess andthesoleisgluedon.Onthesecondday itbecamecleartoeveryonethateachstep requires considerable experience and handcraft skills. And the powerful stapler scared almost everyone. YoucancleantheinsideofyourbootswithlukewarmwaterorMeindl CleanerIn&Out,andrinsewell.WhencleaningGORE-TEX-lined boots, use water only! The boots leather lining can be treated with a little Meindl Sportwax Iftheinsideliningiswet,simplystuffitwithcrumplednewspaperand change it occasionally. Outer part of the boot Remove the laces for better washing and care of the tongue area. The coarse dirt should be brushed off under running water, alsoremove any dirt and stones from the sole. Never dry your boots in direct sunlight or on a radiator/stove.Wet leather will become brittle, hard and crack. DO NOT clean your bootsin a washing machine.Care: Spraying: If the boots are not completely dry and the pores are not yet closed,theimpregnationwillpenetratemoredeeply.Textilematerials should be sprayed only, regularly care for leather with Meindl Conditioner & Proofer or Meindl Sportwax.
