Here is the device manager with the 8.4.0.1016 chipset installed. You can see it installed the Q35 chipset / PCI Expess root ICH9 but devices still report withyellow exclamation

Ethernet Controller

PCI Device

PCI Serial Port

PCI Simple Communications Controller

Unknown Device

Video Controller

all have yellow exclamations under "Other devices" in Device Manager under Computer Management.

Reboot to load the HECI from the link provided.
