This SIP Carrier does not support certain features: i. TCP/TLS ii. T.38 Faxing iii. Delayed Media iv. Putback (Release Link) Transfers c. Outbound ANI has to be a number from your assigned DIDs d. Only the “main” number needs to register to Carrier e. A special registry setting needs placed on the configured line inside DSEditU to allow multiple codecs to be offered in outgoing calls 2. Megapath R17 SIP Trunk Configuration Guide

1. Important Notes

a. Certified with IC 4.0 SU2

b. This SIP Carrier does not support certain features:

Line Configuration

1. Access the Interaction Administrator > [Server] – [Version] > Lines container

2. Click File > New

3. Enter a meaningful name in the Entry Name dialog

4. Enter the following information in the Line section

a. Domain Name - Externally resolvable Domain Name for use as FROM

host portion

b. Address - A number from the assigned DIDs from the Carrier for use as

FROM user portion

c. Name - ANI to appear on Caller ID

5. In the Transport section, configure the Transport Protocol as UDP

6. Enter the following information in the Authentication section

a. Authentication – enable by clicking the Check Box

b. User Name – Primary number as provided by Megapath

c. Password – Password as provided by Megapath

d. Confirm Password – Password as provided by Megapth

7. In the Proxy section click Add and enter carrier’s provided IP & Port, click OK

8. Repeat step 7 for any other IP addresses provided for redundancy

9. In the Registrar Section click Add under the External Phone Numbers list box,

enter the number used in Step 6, click OK

10. Click ADD under the Prioritized list of Registrar addresses, enter the IP from Step

7, click OK

11. Repeat step 10 for each Proxy entered at Step 8

12. In the Access section set “All computers will be:” to Denied Access

13. Click Add and enter the IP Address of the carrier’s Proxy, click OK

14. Repeat step 13 for each IP entered in Step 8

15. Click OK to close the Line Configuration dialog

16. Click Start > Run > Enter DSEditU > Click OK

17. Navigate to <Root Entry> > S > Production > [Server Name] > Lines >

[LineName]

18. Click on any Attribute on the right hand side, click Attribute > Add Attribute…

19. Enter “Offer Multiple Codecs” for the Attribute name, without quotes

20. Click Add Value…

21. Enter “Yes”, without quotes, case specific, Click OK

22. Click OK to close the Edit Attribute dialog
