Why is it called Easter?

In all languages except English and German, the name Easter comes from the Hebrew which means pesach for 'he passed over'

Jesus died on the cross for our sins which happened so that we can be forgiven for the wrong things we do.This was known as a beginning of a new life.

WHY DO YOU GET EASTER EGGS

What we do on Easter?

On Easter when I wake up first thing I do is go and look for my Easter eggs from the Easter bunny. Then I call my cousins and we tell each other about what we got for Easter.

Why is Easter fun?

• We get to wake up early and go on an Easter egg hunt.

• All the family gets together for lunch and we spend time together.

• In the afternoon we are lucky as then all the Aunts & Uncles hide more eggs for all the children to find.

• And best of all!!... WE GET TO EAT THEM

• Easter is on April the 8

• We celebrate Good Friday and Easter Sunday and remember that’s when Jesus died for us and when he rose again.
