that you wish to Bruce, Colby or bring it to the Church Office.

SPENCER SERVING SENIORS

On November 12, we will venture out to Jelly-Stone Campground in Golden

Valley (weather permitting). We will leave the church at 9:30 AM and will have lunch at the

campground. You will need to wear warm clothes. Be sure to reserve your seat by calling the church office (286-2355) by Thursday, November 7. If we are unable to go because

of the weather, we will have our meeting in the Family Life Center.

Our December “ Spencer Serving Seniors” meeting will be on December 3 instead of

the regular date of December 10. Please note the date change. We will meet

at 11AM, on Tuesday, December 3 for a meal. All you need to do is bring yourself.

MISSIONS POST OFFICE

The Missions Post Office will open on Sunday, December 1st. To send a card to someone within Spencer Church will only

cost you only 10 cents! If you have any cards that have to be mailed to someone who is not a member, please take them to your local post office. The money raised will be used to help

in our local community.

Dear Church Family, Thank you for the many acts of kindness shown to Bill during his illness & passing. The cards, calls & especially the prayers were appreciated. Thank you to everyone who had a part in the receiving of friends & the funeral service. Our thanks also to the

food committee for the delicious meal that was prepared for our family. Please continue to remember us in prayer during this difficult time. The Family of Bill Lovelace

Thank you so much for all those that came to Nicole Gollmer's bridal shower! She was very humbled by the love shown to her, and very thankful to all that came. She said she can't wait to incorporate all her gifts into their home. Thanks again! Vicki Ledbetter

To My Church Family, Thank you so much for letting me serve as your Administrative Assistant and Treasurer during 2017-2018 and as your Administrative Assistant 2018-2019. You gave me these positions when I needed them the most and they have prepared me

tremendously for my next adventure. Even though I am excited about moving to Salisbury, I will miss interacting with the church staff and, the church members who came to visit or call. I will also miss seeing and talking to you on Wednesday Nights. I will especially miss having a man (Bruce) make me coffee about every morning, even on his day off or when he was going out of town. Also, you will never know how much your thoughts and prayers meant to me before, on the day and during my eye surgery. The encouraging texts, phone calls and prayers I received before going into surgery helped me to stay calm during the procedure, (I had to be totally awake during it). I want to especially say “thank you” to Diane Dalton for taking me to my appointment and taking care of me afterwards. Please continue to pray for me as my eyes continue to heal. I will always cherish your love, kindness, thoughtfulness, patience and prayers during these years. Not only I am

very blessed and grateful to be a member of this church family, but it has been a great honor to serve you. I will be looking forward to seeing you when I come home. With much love, Connie D. Mills

LOTTIE MOON COOKIES

On Wednesday nights for the next several weeks, our GA and RA members will be selling cookies in

the Family Life Center for $1 to raise money for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Please stop by the table after you get your supper to purchase

these Lottie Cookies and help our kids contribute to the offering for International Missions!

Chic-Fil-A lunch, a Gardner-Webb t-shirt and a college football game! Sounds great, right? This event will cost you only $5!
