Usually given daily
Assignments are given: - orally - modeled on whiteboard - posted on website & REMIND 101 - reviewed at the end of the day
when students pack up to go home
Study Island Optional practice weekly in skills
Problems similar to PSSA questions
Mrs. Breidinger will be giving a parent preview sheet with logon information
Homework - continued
Students must take responsibility to complete all homework assignments on time
Missed Assignments – weekly behavior slip will be noted & students will complete during recess, points may be deducted from grade (up to 25%)
Absent work – students can get their work the day they return to school or it may be picked up if there is an extended absence
Students must study for tests!
Graded Papers Packet & Assignment Books
Sent home every 2 weeks
Parent signature required on graded papers packet – student must return within 2 days (usually Monday)
Assignment book and S.T.A.R. Behavior Communication Report must be signed – check on Monday STUDENTS’ RESPONSIBILITY
School-Wide Positive Behavior Support Program
Behavior Expectations – students were explicitly taught expected behaviors in the classroom, hallway, cafeteria, bus, arrival/dismissal, playground, bathroom, and classroom
S.T.A.R.Tickets - given to students for demonstrating expected behaviors - students are responsible for keeping their
tickets - tickets can be saved or cashed in for prizes

grade

2 - Unit Conversions: Addition and Subtraction of Length, Weight, and Capacity
3 - Multiplication and Division of up to a 4-Digit Number by up to a 1-Digit
4 - Addition and Subtraction of Angle Measurement of Planar Figures
5 - Order and Operations with Fractions
6 - Decimal Fractions
7 - Exploring Multiplication
Class Information Classes are 45 minutes Homework usually given daily - (Remind 101) Binder for organization Math Journal – interactive notebook
