Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU)373-6100Our Day Surgery Center offers a variety of procedures and programs beyond minor surgical procedures, including blood transfusions, CT scans with biopsies, bone scans, bronchoscopic and endoscopic procedures, cardiac catheterization, pre- and post - care, and electroconvulsive therapy.

Healthy Generations373-6967This special program is for pregnant and parenting women who may be experiencing problems with alcohol or other drugs, including tobacco. Services include smoking cessation classes and parenting classes as well as individual and family counseling.

Mid Coast Senior Mental Health Services373-6975Mid Coast Senior Mental Health Services is a mental health outreach service which provides assessment, evaluation, and ongoing counseling to any person more than 60 years of age who is experiencing mental health concerns. Services are provided in the client’s home or residence at no cost to the client.

Psychiatric Partial Hospital Program373-6980This outpatient mental health service offers intensive short-term daily programming for individuals with psychiatric disorders who do not require hospitalization. The program also offers transitional treatment following an inpatient stay.

Diagnostic Imaging373-6625The Diagnostic Imaging Department is a full-service, American College of Radiology (ACR)-accredited regional provider of general x-ray, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, CT, MRI, and PET/CT. It also provides interventional radiology, a subspecialty that offers such services as pe-ripheral angiography and stenting, uterine fibroid embolizations, and vertebral augmentation (kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty).

All mammography services are digital and are available at our new Women’s Imaging Center at 81 Medical Center Drive, which also offers breast ultrasound and bone densitometry.

The center features four state-of-the-art endoscopy suites and utilizes the most advanced techniques. Its endoscopic ultrasound facility is one of only three in the state. RunningStart incorporates proper techniques for warm-up, stretching, calisthenics, and aerobic exercises. The program is directed by an exercise physiologist with a master’s degree in adult fitness.

Cardiac Rehabilitation373-6360This program provides education, exercise, and support under the supervision of a medical director, cardiac nurse, and exercise physiologist to assist the cardiac system’s healing process. This program is often prescribed for those in high-risk categories.

GETTING HERE Coming from the South (Brunswick, Freeport, Yarmouth, Portland) :

• Take Exit 28 (Brunswick) off I-295 North. (This will put you on Pleasant Street—U.S. Route 1.)

• Follow signs for “U.S. Route 1—Bath.” (This will involve a left turn at a laundromat.)

• Take the Cook’s Corner exit off U.S. Route 1. Get in the left lane, and at the traffic light turn left onto Bath Road.

• Medical Center Drive is one mile down Bath Road. Look for the Mid Coast Hospital sign and turn right.

Coming from the north (Bath, Woolwich, Wiscasset, Damariscotta) :

• Follow U.S. Route 1 across the Sagadahoc Bridge into Bath. Continue south.

• Take New Meadows Road exit. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp. Proceed to stop sign and turn right onto State Road.

• Medical Center Drive is 1.7 miles on your left. Turn left at the Mid Coast Hospital sign.

Coming from the West (Topsham, Lisbon Falls) :

• Follow Route 196 to the Coastal Connector. Stay in the left lane to Bath, U.S. Route 1.

• Take the Cook’s Corner exit off U.S. Route 1. Get in the left lane, and at the traffic light turn left onto Bath Road.

• Medical Center Drive is one mile down Bath Road. Look for the Mid Coast Hospital sign and turn right.
