The town of Cacak is a home to numerous cultural monu-ments, sacral buildings and cultural institutions of outstanding national, artistic and historical value (Nation-al Museum, The Church of Christ Ascension built in the 12th century, Art Gallery ‘Nadezda Petrovic’). Master Jovan Konak is the second oldest preserved building, after The Church of Christ Ascen-sion. It was built in 1835 by Jovan Obrenovic, brother of prince Mi-los Obrenovic. Ovcar Kablar Gorge Ovcar Kablar Gorge, situated in the central part of Serbia, in West Pomoravlje region, divides Sumadija highlands in the north, from Dragacevo and Starovlasko-Raska highlands in the south. Atomic Spa Gornja Trepca

Just 130 km far from Belgrade there is the exceptional spa Atomska Banja. Surrounded by wooded hills and mountains, at the altitude of 460m, it represents the ultimate oasis of peace and tran-quility. Thoroughly examined and tested mineral waters of Gornja Trepca are invaluable in terms of medical rehabilitation of patients with neurological diseases, Multiple Sclerosis in particular, rheu-matic diseases and diseases of gastrointestinal tract and peripheral blood vessels. Medicinal effects of the spa have been recognized since the Roman era. The first spa bath was built in 1890, so that year is considered as the beginning of the spa tourism.

Atomic spa is unique for its balneology features. The tem-perature of water is 29.8°C. This is one of the most studied thermal-mineral waters in our country with first chemical analysis dating as far as 1904 (Dr Zege).

Concentrations of micro, macro and radioactive elements as well as their interaction make this water extremely healing, specially for nervous and muscular tissues.

A number of joint characteristics (mineral water, moder-ate climate, fresh mountainous air, favorable magnetic field, well-balanced diet, plenty of sound sleep, rest and entertainment) pro-vide complete recovery of body and mind as well as rehabilitation. Atomic Spa was privatized in 2008. The existing facilities were completely renewed and in 2012, a completely new hotel ‘Vu-jan’ was built which brought up rehabilitation and accommodation capacities to meet European level of requirements.

There is also a Special Hospital for Rehabilitation of Pa-tients with rheumatic and neurological diseases. All the buildings are modern, fully adapted to the needs of patients and even most demanding guests and consist of single or double bedrooms and suits. There are also small hotels and apartments in private houses and villas.
