Glendale Adventist Medical Center  (GAMC) is one of Glendale’s oldest businesses, founded in 1905, a year before Glendale was incorporated as a city.  GAMC is a general medical and surgical hospital with 457 beds.  Survey data for the latest year show that 39,869 patients visited the hospital’s emergency room and its physicians performed 3,290 inpatient surgeries and 4,800 outpatient surgeries.
