Keeping Local,

The debate over whether marijuana should be legalized is developing much stronger reasoning from those for the legalization process. But, one huge worry is how the nation would enforce the newly legal drug. Would their be an age limit, if so, what age? Who would have the authority to sell the drug legally, and if so by what means are they legally doing so? Tons of questions will come up before this process is initiated, but when will this process begin? As the pot industry evolves, more and more groups are finding that they've reached their personal stopping point and are upset with those who have different ideas. This is only the beginning to a decade worth of debating, but hopefully the right decisions will be made.

Staying with National News,

The quest for same sex marriage approval has rapidly made its way to the supreme court. But, by now in our nation, dont we just consider it okay to do so? Same sex marriage does not affect those who appose it, so why appose it?

The world has developed back alley means of getting what they want, and same sex marriage is beginning to do so. People are using this marriage certificate as their own excuse for social security checks or even other perks of being married. Same sex marriage needs to be allowed since the world today already considers it legal. Those who are against it must be against change.

The U.S. is considering to deploy aircraft and ships to contest Chinese claims to disputed islands in the South China Sea. Options are to fly surveillance aircrafts and sail Navy ships nearby in a move that puts the U.S. directly into the territory. The South China Sea is the subject of numerous territorial claims, with China, Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam. The U.S. was only warned because taking sides in this issue could prove costly for the U.S. Navy. Warnings have been made and the U.S. is still considering their options with this matter.

Ananta Bijoy Das was hacked to death for writing about the Islamic world. Four men relentlessly hacked at him in the middle of the night last night. there is a supposable hit list against bloggers in the nation and this list was developed by the Defenders of Islam in Bangladesh. This man was not the first and sadly not the last to be killed for speaking out against oppression. Bangladesh is known to have a downward spiral in the amount of people who choose to speak out. Hopefully these gruesome murders will be put to an end.
