TRANSCRIPT
Silty water and Iron (Fe) prematurely wear pump seals and foul membranes, making the sea water feed detrimental to any
RO plant. Until now, your choices were costly filter cartridges, or additional filtration devices that require maintenance or
chemicals. Media filters, also known as depth filters, remove particulate or a specific ion in the feed stream. Media filters
are backwash-able with no consumable filter cartridges to replace. The results are reduced maintenance, longer run times
between service intervals, increased pump and membrane life, and above all, significantly lower operational costs.
FCI Watermakers manufactures Media Filter systems in a multitude of sizes for particulate and
iron removal. FCI particulate-only Media Filters remove particulates to 20 microns. And, while
FCI iron removal Media Filters remove Iron up to 4 ppm, you also get the added benefit of
removing particulate down to 25 microns. The FCI Media Filters are available in manual or fully
automatic configurations. When coupled with an FCI watermaking system, the automatic media
filters are integrated into the exclusive FCI V4 HMI controls. This allows you to remotely control
and monitor your entire watermaking system.
For over three decades, FCI Watermakers has been pioneering technologies and manufacturing
the most reliable, trouble-free watermaking systems for the offshore and boating industries.
Each unit is manufactured and live-tested in our facility. Our filter comes with the peace of mind,
