Established in 2011, Jaheziya is a regional leader in technical, vocational and professional training for emergency, crisis and disaster management. The company also provides integrated firefighting and emergency response solutions within high-risk zones, such as airports, seaports, nuclear and other power plants, oil and gas, defence, aviation, industry, as well as the maritime and municipal sectors.

Jaheziya believes that emergency training and firefighting services are of national importance – and that government entities and companies should view it as a collective responsibility. As a subsidiary of EDGE Group’s Mission Support cluster, the company seeks to help build, sustain and strengthen the national capabilities of the UAE – and those of nations and organisations across the GCC region – to protect communities, assets and infrastructure through harmonising requirements, enhancing readiness, developing skills, and stimulating teamwork and participation.

Jaheziya’s training portfolio comprises 120+ courses and modules, ranging from international theory to practical certifications across the professional firefighting, offshore and maritime, health and safety domains. Its multilingual trainers are among the most seasoned and accomplished emergency management professionals in the region. They regularly attend courses around the world to remain internationally relevant and bring back best practice applications.

Jaheziya’s 75,000 sq m facility in Abu Dhabi is a recognised regional centre of excellence and is among the most comprehensive in the MENA region. With the capacity to accommodate 600 trainees, the complex features a 60-room dormitory, 14 purpose-built classrooms, a 12-seat mobile classroom and a variety of environment-specialised training facilities. These include underwater, confined-space grids and tunnels, and aviation fire simulators that offer ideal conditions for intensive scenario-based training. The company recreates the stress of a real incident so that trainees can practice in a safe, controlled setting with the ability to repeat exercises.

In addition to its international-standard training facility, Jaheziya’s upcoming Disaster City, currently at the planning stage, will feature a range of specialist disaster zones spanning one sq km. The world-class complex will enable training for the escalation of

multiple simultaneous crisis events, inspired by and benchmarked against the best in the world.

Jaheziya has trained approximately 300,000+ emergency responders from military and civilian organisations across the region to date. In line with its commitment to complying with the latest national and international standards, the company is accredited and certified by The General Directorate of Civil Defence Abu Dhabi (ADCD), the Federal Transport Authority – Land & Maritime (FTA), the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), TÜV NORD, First Aid International, OPITO, IOSH, JOIFF and NEBOSH.
