Science fiction often explores the potential consequences of scientific and other innovations, and has been called a "literature of ideas”

It usually eschews the supernatural, and unlike the related genre of fantasy, historically science fiction stories were intended to have at least a faint grounding in science-based fact or theory at the time the story was created, but this connection has become tenuous or non-existent in much of science fiction.

Social Media: A Luring Campaign

What are the bases of people on electing officials? Popularity? Sympathy? Commercials? Celebrity endorsement? Policy stances? Or achievements? Commercials and social media can help draw bigger crowds’ vote that’s why social media is being use by officials in campaigning and has conquered and catch people’s interest and attention. Philippines was named as "The Social Networking Capital of the World”, thus, Social media serves as strategy to wield power on election. A study released by Universal McCann entitled "Power To The People - Wave3" pointed out that there are 83 percent of Filipinos surveyed are members of a social network.

Social Media: A Luring Campaign

Don’t be easily convinced and lured by the candidates’ advertisements in social media, celebrity endorsement and beautiful promises that meant to be broken but rather look deeper on the candidate’s achievements and contributions to the country. Social media will be a big help in deciding the candidate to elect but sometimes it will just confuse people’s mind.
