Mechanical Equipment Design Engineers NuvoSun is seeking Mechanical design engineers for system and hardware design of our automated process equipment. Positions available for both entry level and experienced Mechanical Engineers. Responsibilities include mechanical hardware design, build, start up (debug), improve and sustaining support. Should be familiar with process equipment and automation design. Job Description: Equipment design, assembly and test of process equipment and automation systems Detailed design documentation, including mechanical drawings, ECOs, test plans Risk, failure, thermal, and stress Modes Effects Analysis on design concepts Work with process and product design personnel to understand, specify and modify mechanical equipment design in support of goals. Vendor selection and project management Tool floor support Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Master’s Degree preferred Experience with mechanism and equipment design Experience in designing capital equipment for semiconductor or solar and vacuum coating applications a strong plus. Experience in designing automation a strong plus Demonstrated ability to develop effective solutions to complex problems and deliver strong hardware solutions. Hardware experience including materials selection, fasteners, commercial hardware, etc. looking for hands on people with hardware as well as theoretical knowledge Ability to perform mechanical engineering analysis and do mechanical design of equipment: ability to blend theory and practice to application and solutions. Proficient in solid modeling with Solid Works. AutoCAD experience a plus. Perform design modifications to eliminate machine and/or system malfunctions. Strong work ethic and ability to work with team. Must be able to work well and safely without close direction. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a timely and safe manner Must have excellent communication skills Must interface successfully with engineers and personnel of other disciplines Company Description

Job Description:

Equipment design, assembly and test of process equipment and automation systems

Job Requirements:
