7.2 Industrial Visits

Number of Industrial Visits

Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted a

series of focused industrial visits as per the require-

ments of various subjects. The rising trend of indus-

trial visits indicates that the college has actively uti-

lized the funds provided by TEQIP II for the benefit

of the students by organizing such visits.

Department of Mechanical Engineering conducted 3

expert lectures with support from industry profession-

als and academic experts during year 2012-13.

Expert lectures give students a cutting edge overview

of the current trends and practices in the outside

world.

Institute plans to organize lectures on more general

topics such as property matters, tax, etc. (for overall

development) so as to promote entrepreneurship.

Mr. Vivek Mahajan from DesignTech Systems Ltd., Pu-

ne, gave lecture on product development for final year

students.
