Flexible and multi-functional

The MECC Maastricht congress centre consists of three flexible and multi-functional floors,

including the lobby or the 0-level. All the floors are interconnected, allowing guests to see

each other, wherever they may be. The 0-level benefits from a large number of meeting

rooms, each perfectly suitable for meeting sessions combined with a seminar or workshop.

The meeting rooms are also equipped with interpreter booths which may be used as an

extra service for your international guests.

The congress centre is reached via the Trajectum (1-level). This level accommodates both

of the auditoriums from which you have direct access to the Expo Foyer, which makes this

floor ideal for combining a congress with a trade fair. One special feature of the auditoriums

is that they can be used separately and in combination with one another. Both auditoriums

offer interpreter booths. The Expo Foyer is perfect for an exhibition or a dinner party in a

fine atmosphere.

The second floor of the congress centre, the Promenade, accommodates thirteen meeting

rooms of various sizes. All the rooms on the second floor have natural light.

The €uro Centre

The name of the €uro Centre was ‘coined’ in reference to the Maastricht Treaty, which

sealed the introduction of the euro. Because it is so compact, the €uro Centre exudes an

atmosphere of intimacy. The Millennium Foyer leads to MECC Maastricht’s newest congress

halls: Euro, Florin, Dollar and Yen. These multi-functional halls can be used separately or in

combination with one another. The square design of the Euro and Florin halls allow for various

layouts. All of the halls have natural light, although they can be darkened if necessary. Since

it has its own toilet and kitchen facilities, as well as room for setting up a secretarial office,

the €uro Centre is ideal for congresses where discretion and exclusivity are of the essence.

Everything you need

The main entrance of MECC Maastricht offers cash desks,

a reception, a cash point and screens that can be used

to welcome your guests with a special message or your

programme. Special lighting can be used to project your

corporate colours onto the ceilings in the entrance hall.

The entrance provides access to the Noordhal, Zuidhal and

Westhal, whose total floor space of 27,000 m2 can be used

separately or combined. Combination with the Expo Foyer

is also an option. With our experience and expertise, your

Maastricht is known for its gastronomy, and this fine tradition can be

enjoyed in our congress centre as well. MECC Maastricht has a top-notch

food service which caters for your every need. Ranging from a simple

sandwich to a complete luxury dinner, we offers regional and international

dishes on a high culinary level.

The Expo Foyer provides access to MECC@table, our dedicated restaurant

which can serve up to 350 people. The MecCafé can provide appetisers

and drinks for parties of up to 80 people. The Family pub is located in the

Forum Passage.

For accommodation close to your exhibition or congress, the NH Maastricht

hotel offers 275 rooms adjacent to MECC Maastricht. Or to soak up the
