INTRODUCTION:
Thisexperimentwillbecarriedoutbyusingtwotypesofburnerssuchasgasburnerandoilburner.
Astheburnerissettoamidrangeoffuelflow,theair/fuelratiowillbealteringaccordinglyto
achievecompletecombustion.Stoichiometriccombustioniswheretheexacttheoreticalairquantity
issupplied.
Themixtureoffuelandoxidizer(commonlyusedisair),incombustionchamberaffectsthenatureof
combustionoccurduringexperimentation.Themixturecouldbeclassifiedintothreecategories;
dependingonthefuelcontenttoairsuppliedduringcombustion.Theyarestoichiometric,fuellean
andfuelrichmixtures.ThefuelandaircontentcanbedescribedaseitherinAirFuelRatio,orFuel
AirRatio,orEquivalenceRatio,.
