An awesome prophecy emerges when the meanings of all 72 names in the genealogy from Adam toJesus are read sequentially!
The meaning of a name was very important in bible days. Sometimes the bible itselfinforms the reader what a name means. Famous biblical persons such as Adam, Cain,Seth, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and his 12 sons, all have the meaning of their nameexplicitly given in the bible. Their names tell the story of why or how they were born.
Some have wondered whether these names (with their meanings) were intended by God tobe strung together in succession to tell some larger story. Already there have beenattempts to string together the first 10 names in the bible from Adam to Noah. In general,this is what the first 10 names of the bible read when the meaning of each name isrendered in the order given in the bible.

Note: In the above simplified rendering of the MeaningofNamesCode, the first paragraph is the line ofCain who perished in Noah's flood. Remarkably, the godly and ungodly up to Noah use similar or samenames. This striking similarity is the logic behind inserting Cain's line alongside Seth's. However, forarguments sake, because Cain's line merely affirms what the godly line to Noah already reads, thus, Cain'sline can be omitted with no loss to the code.
The righteous line of Adam to Noah is listed after Cain's line and continues through to Jesus and His "Church".The word "Church" is listed as the last name in the genealogy because in a theological sense His Church,which was "born" just 50 days after Jesus died, caps off the genealogy of Jesus. This is in agreement withIsaiah the prophet, "...he will see his offspring and prolong his days", (Isaiah 53:10 NIV).

God's Response to the Da Vinci Code!
It is now May 24, 2006. I began this study back on April 30, 2006, but was delayed. I just now completedthe total line of 60 names (and their meanings) from Adam to Jesus when I understood by the Holy Spiritthat the Church, in a symbolic sense, is the offspring of Jesus. The Church as "a people" was born atPentecost shortly after Jesus died and is, in that sense only, the younger 'son' whereas Israel is the elder,(Luke 15:1). When I added the word "Church" to cap off the list of names from Adam to Christ it perfectlyfit in with the rest of the code and properly completed the last paragraph of our successivenames code. Immediately after that it occurred to me that this code is actually God's response to the Da Vinci codemovie that has just started playing in theaters! Both are codes that concern the ancestry/progeny ofChrist. The Da Vinci Code is proven false by the fact that the genealogy to Jesus is clearly proven to beinspired by God and therefore any notion that somehow Jesus himself continued his genealogy after theflesh is obviously a blasphemous fiction.
