    Manually Uninstall the MDM:-

    Remove the MDM files:-

    Stop the Database:-

    Drop/Delete the database instance:-

    Create Database Instance:-

    As root user on UNIX, create an instance by running the following command at the command prompt:

    db2icrt s !S! a S!R"!R#!$CR%&' u db2mdm db2mdm

    Start the Database:-

    Setup the D(2 Re)istry:-

    Set the DB registry !ariable DB"#$%&'$AD to SA( by running the following at the

    db2set DB2_WORKLOAD=SAP

    **Update Database Mana)er Confi)uration:-

    )he Database *anager +onfiguration can be updated using the following eample script- )he following script can be eecuted by user dbmdm

    .instance owner/ by running:

    db2 - tvf update#dbm#cf)+s,l

    Create 'ablespaces for DMS Containers:- $ote- &lease dont use 1utosi3e script0

    Setup the Database for Remote Connections:-

    )he database needs to be setup to allow remote )+(1I( connections- )he database manager configuration parameter S8+9NA*9 has to be

    updated to contain the )+(1I( port or ser!ice name- If a ser!ice name is used, mae sure it is entered in the ser!ices file-)he script below can be

    used to update the parameter to sapdb*D*:

    db2 -tvf update#svcename+s,l

    Restart the Database:-
