Our premium quality machinery is wellmaintained and competitively priced.

Our team of workers are amongst the best in the business

from labourers to plant operators to supervisors. We haveaccess to a variety of skilled, multi-ticketed workers who areavailable for hire when you need them.

Previous Significant Projects2019Georgetown-Huddleston F1910 Access Road$400,000

Client: ElectraNetMCS constructed a new access road for hazard mitigationrepairs along F1910 transmission line. The road included anew creek crossing, comprising of precast culvert sectionsand insitu headwalls. Due to the steep incline of somesections, cement stabilised roadbase was selected to ensurelongevity and serviceability for years to come.

MCS was commended for its landowner communicationand overall proformance on completion of the project.

2019Sydney Metro$400,000

Client: Bauer Foundation AustraliaMCS constructed over 500m2 is reinforcement slabs tooffer as a guide wall for piling works. Penetrations were castinto the slabs to 5mm tolerance for pile diameters rangingfrom 1200mm to 2500mm. Quality, Safety andEnvironmental controls were paramount to the successfulcompletion of works.

2018Australian National University - Union CourtRedevelopment$500,000

Client: Decc Pty LtdMCS Civil were awarded the block retaining wall packagefor the ANU redevelopment. The project consisted of singleand double skin walls up to 3.4m high.The blockwork specification required Ebony charcoal besserblocks and coloured mortar.

2018Barangaroo South - Stage 1B StormwaterDiversion Works$400,000

Client: Enviropacific Services Pty LimitedMCS Civil supply bespoke precast concrete pits, culvertsand beams to aid accelerate time sensitive sections.

Strict adherence to City of Sydney technical specificationallows these elements to be precast off site. 2018

Lilyfield Maintenance Depot CSR Pit andConduit Installation Works Package$1,500,000

Client: Coleman RailMCS Civil were contracted to install the combined services,electrical and drainage pits and conduits.

Over 3400m of trenches were installed along with 220 pits.

Excavation through rock utilised MCS Civils own range of20T - 30T rock breakers and rippers.

MCS Civil FRP crews installed in-situ pit risers and lids toaccommodate changing design levels and routes.

2018Upper Canal - Stage 2, Prospect$6,500,000

Client: Comdain InfrastructureMCS were engaged by Comdain Infrastructure to carry outrepair works to a 5.6km section of the 130 year old canal.

The canal owned by WaterNSW was constructed during the1880s to convey bulk water from the four Upper NepeanDams to Prospect Reservoir.

The scope work consisted of mechanical scabbling of ofexisting trapezoid walls and relining with shotcrete.

Where the concrete was badly corroded, insitu sectionswere formed and poured to repair the wall.

2018Various Substation Upgrades -$400,000

Client: ElectraNet Pty LtdMCS Civil were engaged as the principle contractor forutility upgrades in five substations from Tungkillo locatedwest of Adelaide through the Mid North to Port Augusta.

Detailed service location and NDD was required to ensuresafe excavation around live cables and earth grids.

Conduit crossings under existing substation roads werecarried out using trenchless excavation techniques.

2017F1919 1920 Transmission Line Replacement$1,000,000

Client: ElectraNet Pty LtdMCS Civil were engaged as the principle contractor for thereplacement of 5 monopole bases damaged during theSeptember 2017 storms and subsequent state wideblackout.

MCS Civil self preformed on the 8 week project whichinvolved driving a total of 80 steel piles up to 15m long overthe 1.2km site. Each footing contained upwards of 80m3 ofconcrete and 1.5m diameter holding down bolts.

As a recognition of the success of the project, MCS Civilwere awarded ElectraNets inaugural QMSE award. 2017

London Street Bridge Replacement - PortLincoln$700,000

Client: BMD ConstructionsMCS Civil were responsible for all FRP works for the singlespan replacement bridge over a private rail corridor.

The design comprised of two wing wall and abutmentstructures supporting a 18m span.

MCS completed the works ahead of program and within theoriginal contract budget.

2017Sydney Light Rail - Randwick and LilyfieldStabling Yard$6,500,000

Client: Coleman RailMCS Civil were engaged by Coleman Rail to provide plantand labour on both Randwick and Lilyfield Stabling Yard.

As a result of MCS Civil's performance, we were awardedthe piling, pile trimming, and combined service route for theLilyfield Stabling Yard section.

MCS Civil enjoys the challenges of working safely andefficiently with multiple trades to ensure a successfulproject.

2016F1911 Brinkworth to Davenport Hazard Mitigation$500,000

Client: ElectraNet Pty LtdMCS Civil supplied and installed over 30 transmission polebases stretching from Gawler to Port Augusta, SA.

Each footing required 4 pile foundation from 6m - 12m witha hold down bolt assemble cast into a pile cap.

Due to the remote locations, detailed mix designs weredeveloped to prolong the working life and reduce supplyrisk.

Strict compliance with ElectraNet Line access manual andconstruction manual allowed for a successful project withlimited disruption to local land owners.
