Prayer before Marriage Encounter Weekend

‘Loving Father, we lift up to You the forthcoming Marriage Encounter Weekend. We know Father that

Your Word is Truth and Your promises are sure. We surrender to You this weekend and claim victory and healing to all the

candidates who will be attending.

We ask for special protection and travel mercies for all

those who will be attending and serving this weekend.


Please pour Your most precious blood on all of us that we may be protected from all evil and harm, send Your ministering

angels to surround our homes and families that we have left

behind, protect them.



Father, we ask for the strength and the energy to perform our duties faithfully prior to and

during the weekend. Allow us to be patient, understanding and forgiving to one another.


Clothe us with the Spirit of Your Servant hood, the armor of Truth as our belt, Justice as

our breast plate,


Zeal to propagate the Gospel of Peace as our footgear, Faith as

our shield, Salvation as our helmet and the Word of God

as our sword.

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,

gentleness, self-control to manifest in us that we may

radiate the fullness of Your love to others but most especially the

candidates.


We pray for Your mighty anointing of the Team Priest, Team Couples, Sponsoring

Class, Music Ministry and all Auxies working on the

preparation and during the weekend.


That all are fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that the

candidates will open their hearts and minds, turning from the powers of darkness to Your

wonderful light, professing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

concerns of the candidates like: anger, insecurity, depression, resentment, hate, division of faith and most especially un-

forgiveness.


Lord Jesus, we ask for Your mercy and compassion, through Your

Holy Spirit heal them of all their bitterness and hurts that hold

them captive.

Prayer before Marriage Encounter WeekendHeal them, free them, renew them and fill them with Your

forgiving love. We ask these in Your most mighty name.


Almighty Father, we ask You to soak us with the Holy Blood of Jesus to cleanse us from any

burden and any unclean spirit that might have clung to us as

we intercede for the candidates.


We bind them all at the foot of the Cross until, You, O Lord tells it where to go. In Jesus’ name,

our mighty Savior, Amen!

Spirit of our God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Most Holy Trinity, Immaculate Virgin

Mary, angels, archangels, and saints of heaven, descend

upon me.

Please purify me, Lord, mold me, fill me with Yourself, use me. Banish all the forces of evil from me, destroy them, vanquish them, so that I can

be healthy and do good deeds.

DELIVERANCE PRAYER

Banish from me all spells, witchcraft, black magic,

malefice, ties, maledictions, and the evil eye; diabolic infestations, oppressions,

possessions;

void in the Name of Jesus Christ.

If any evil spirits have been sent against us, I decommission you in

the Name of Jesus Christ and I send you to Jesus to deal with as He

will.
