MobileCoat’s Liquidsafe™ Nano Coating is a highly durable “Teflon-like” amorphous carbon polymer coating that protects small items such as Smartphone and other personal electronics from accidental exposure to liquids. It works not by sealing the device, but by creating surface tension and this repels the water while allowing air to pass through the device. In addition to water other larger molecules, such as salt, do not attach to the coating preventing corrosion and bacteria from building up.
The MobileCoat Liquidsafe™ process is created at reduced pressures equivalent to an altitude of 200,000 ft above sea level so that the carbon atoms can diffuse deep into the product, resulting in a Hydrophobic Nano Coating over every exposed surface on the inside and outside of the device.
The use of MobileCoat’s Liquidsafe™ Nano Coating is ideal for protecting Smartphone and small electronic devices such as Tablet, MP3 Players, and Portable Speakers which may inadvertently get wet from water and other everyday liquids.
Tests have shown that a Hydrophobic Nano Coating can prevent Smartphone damage in 95% of all accidental liquid exposure situations.
