    the right just a few yards further along it is essentially random rubble verging on coursed random inplaces (by yours truly). Both have a more consistent pattern and more rigorous grading than the wall atYstradfellte (earlier).

    Further along its nothing to do with DSWA and could be best categorised as random rubbish!

    The subtle differences in bothrandom and coursed walls meansthat there can be a blurring ormerging of types within eitherrandom or coursed or evenbetween coursed and randomthemselves. For example at theextremes of the ranges of randombrought to courses and coursedrubble the difference is often justattributable to the skill of the

    waller.

    Confused yet? Had you everimagined it could be socomplicated, life was so mucheasier when random did just meanun-coursed. Oh to be a mason.Anyway thats the basic conceptsdealt with, next time the basic

    principles of building to a pattern and hopefully why Ive chosen to deal with these patterns here willbecome clear.
