Our Prestige projects portfolio includes private
residences, listed buildings and high end commercial
fit outs. Many of our projects require challenging
structural work and specialist finishes.
Thanks to our track record within this sector, MBS
Prestige were approached to make alterations and
improvements to a property located in central
Belgravia for a private client. Following consultation
with our design team we referred our client to a
specialist architect to draw up a specification of
works and a full design brief.

GROUND FLOOR PLAN
Following consultation with our design team, the
decision was taken to remodel the three separate
mews properties into one. The design took full
advantage of the lateral space on offer to create a
sense of openness which is unusual in Central London,
where houses tend to be tall and thin. Following
extensive structural works to walls, ceilings and floors,
the property was remodelled to open plan spaces
pivoted around a new three-part reception area lit by
a 10 meter2 structural glass roof light.
Private glass screens were specified throughout the
property to section off areas across the open plan
space. This created a welcoming space within the
property whilst still making the best use of all
natural light.
A sophisticated finish to the property was of
paramount importance to our client to create an
original yet also intimate environment across the
residence.
The use of dark polished granite, leather bound
bespoke joinery and bespoke lacquers and metallic
finishes combined to give the property both a unique
and exclusive feel.

The client was extremely pleased with the finished
product as we successfully developed a unique
residence that was specific to their individual tastes.
Working in true partnership with the appointed design
team, we were able to elaborate upon the original
architectural brief in order to realise the clients vision
as it took shape throughout the project.
In testament to our success, whilst the project had
originally been conceived as a development
opportunity, the client was so pleased with the
warm and homely feel of the finished works that
they decided to make the residence their
permanent home.
We have since been instructed on further works by
the client thanks to our ability to realise clinical
architectural designs into bespoke interactive spaces.
