MBR System Elements

Laser-welded Plate-and-Frame Membrane

Plates is a key element of the membrane filter.

Membrane Module is a complete unit consisting of membrane plates, support frame, feed inlet retentate, and outlet permeate ports.




Depending on applications MBR can be presented by different kinds of aggregates

Whole membrane filtration system includes:

Membrane filters (membrane & support frame)

Permeate withdrawal system

Air scouring blower system

Permeate & mixed liquor recirculation pumps

Membrane cleaning system

Programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

Membrane filters are submerged into the treated water. The filtrate is drawn through and out of the filters by the slightly negative pressure of only 0.1 bar (0.47 psig)
