Eligibility Criteria

To be able to pursue medical studies and acquire an MBBS degree from Nepal, the Indian students have to fall under the following Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: The students must be either 17 or more than 17 years old during the time they apply to pursue MBBS from Nepal. Students less than the age of 17 are not allowed.

• Education: In their 12th-grade Central examination, the students should have passed with subjects English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as the main subjects. They should have secured not less than 50% marks in these mentioned subjects. Additionally, their overall aggregate percentage should also be 50%.

• Clearing the Entrance Examination: The aspirants of MBBS should clear the entrance examination of the Nepalese medical universities.

Documents Required for MBBS in Nepal 2019

To get into a medical college in Nepal, and to pursue MBBS, the following documents shall be required:

• Age Certificate: A photocopy of the proof certifying the age of the student should be presented. The documents to prove this can either be the 10th board certificate of the candidate or the date of the birth certificate of the candidate.• Certificate of Conduct: A copy of the conduct or character certificate should also be presented. It should be signed by the head of the previous institute.• Nationality Certificate: For international students, a copy of the front page of the passport is required.• Academic Certificates: Transfer Certificates, 12th board certificates, Migration Certificates.• Self–addressed envelope: the admit card of the students is to be sent by mail. Therefore, the candidates should also provide a self-addressed envelope.
