11IiI,Let's Keep Things Simple ...
A tradilionallrack bicycle (AKA fixed gear, fixie or fixed wheel)is a single-speed bike thai has no freewheel, meaning it cannotcoast. The pedals are always in motion when the bicycle ismoving, if the rear wheel turns the crank will tum in the samedirection. This helps with control and stopping, but does takesome getting used 101 \
Track racing in velodromes -like you'd see at the Olympics - hasalways used fixed gear bikes, but in recent years (led by bikecouriers) there has been a tremendous upsurge in popularity \for fixed gear road riding, especially in big cities.
The flXies on the streets today are bright and minimal in design, and they're buitllo withstand the rigors of daily use in pursuitsas wide ranging as bike polo, bicyde ballet, courier wor1<,unofficial alley cat racing and of course just riding. Riderslove the simplicity, the light weight builds and the lowmaintenance required to keep them running.
Riding fixed can be of benefit in slippery conditions and itpromotes a more effective pedalling action through enforced, yet controlled fast spins - even the great lance Armstrongdoes, on occasion, ride fixed - as seen on YouTube!
Also called double-sided hubs, they are rear wheel hubsthat are threaded to accept a fixed wheel cog on one side, anda freewheel on the other. IThis gives the rider the option of quickly switching between riding'fixed' or 'free' by removing the rear wheel and 'flipping' it over,
hence the term a 'fIip.flop' hub. All MBA models come with '/flip-flop hubs fitted as standard. /

,'The team that designed and produced this bike have done an excellent job. From its framegeometry through to the paint finish, component choice and build quality it is evident agreat deal of cycling know-how and hard work has been expended to create a first rate bicycle.
I was impressed with the attention to detail. Features such as its full 4130 erMa frameset, the fluted configuration of the rear drop-outs and the lock-on grips tum thisunderstated machine into a modern day classic. It
