COLLECTION WOMEN: FALL/WINTER 2017„TIME IS LUXURY“ - THE STORY BEHIND

Time is Luxury – today more than ever. An increasing demand in society calls for deceleration and relaxation – which also applies to wardrobe. Less, but only the best, for laid-back, contemporary “anything goes” designs in a modern yet feminine look – these trends are perfectly reflected in HANRO’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection.The lingerie, nightwear and loungewear is reduced to the essential, expressing strength and self-confidence in a natural way. Where else could we find a better photo background to stage this mood than in the breath-taking nature of Iceland? Unspoiled countryside as far as the eyes can see, creating the perfect atmosphere for the new collection. The spectacular volcanic landscape with autumnal vegetation, green moss and icy blue glacial lakes are reflecting the color trends of earthy natural shades, dark red colors, dark green and graduations of blue in the collection. The soft, warm winter materials or noble, supple fabrics offer an especially appealing contrast when paired with graphic embroideries, floral ornamental laces, and tulle. Fashionable cuts and sophisticated design details inspired from ready-to-wear underscore the versatility of the collection with crossover-wearing options of day or night, inside or out melting into one.

Lingerie & Daywear: lingerie to wear – the versatile daywear tops, shirts and turtlenecks made from soft cotton, finest blends of merino wool and silk, or lightweight viscose can be worn underneath or on its own. Also, the new bodysuits offer perfect layering options, either in classic and puristic design made from cotton-jersey or micro-modal, or in a striking and seductive look featuring tulle embroidery or an ultra-fine polyamide stripe design. Lingerie is decorative with a generous use of floral lace or graphical embroideries. Tulle can be found in the whole collection – either as fine underground for embroideries creating a special honeycomb optics, as delicate trims, or used in a more compact design for fashionable lingerie looks. The color focus is on red shades ranging from dark ruby to burnt orange, and blue shades from light and smoky to dark and intense, as well as autumnal hues of green and earth shades.

Nightwear offers endless mix & match combinations, with fluent borders between daywear, nightwear and lingerie. Cross-functional wear sets the tone – anything goes! However, comfort is always first priority. The result are comfortable, well-groomed „day to night“ looks. Inserts of graphical, ornamental embroideries play an exciting contrast to the soft fabrics made from cotton, micro-modal and cashmere, or flowing, noble fabrics featuring viscose and silk. Modern details from lurex or satin provide luxurious luster accents. Fashionable finishing at pockets and necklines, as well as visuals stitching, are inspired from ready-to-wear – just as the prints and stripe designs, which reflect the contemporary pajama look, and are also suited to

be worn as trendy outerwear, depending on the individual styling. Cuts are either casual and oversize with O-shape and batwing sleeves, or elegant and seductive, especially when combined with delicate eyelash lace. The palette of colors include dark berry shades, midnight blue, mauve, and deep, dark green. Loungy, softened grey shades offer a noble alternative to black.

Loungewear enables crossover in perfection: it can be worn inside or out, during the day or evening, boosting an increased „all day“ appeal.
