COURSE HIGHLIGHTSSince the inaugural conference held in Denmark in 1991, this worldwide multidisciplinary gathering has left its footprints in France, Italy, UK, Spain, USA and China. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, U.S.A., is proud to host the 8th Quadrennial International Conference on Vestibular Schwannoma and Other CPA Tumors. The 2019 conference will provide a great opportunity for otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuroradiologists, plastic and reconstructive surgeons and other healthcare professionals to share their clinical experiences, discuss treatment strategy and introduce their advances in related fields. Various sessions and roundtable discussions will focus on the advanced clinical management as well as cutting-edge research accomplishments on vestibular schwannoma and other CPA lesions.

available for managing patients with vestibular schwannoma• Construct standardized evidence based protocols for management of patients with
vestibular schwannoma that are practical for implementation given the resources in their environment
• Incorporate new surgical techniques to improve outcomes• Recognize if their current practice model provides comprehensive non-biased
evidence based medicine during the counseling of patients with vestibular schwannoma
• Summarize options and identify who may benefit from current facial and hearing rehabilitation strategies
