By Seungjin Hong A new Korean family moved to the small town of Mayberry. In the town of Mayberry, everybody knows everyone. It's like walking into a bar where everyone knows your name. The family came from KOREA. Mayberry's friendly neighborhood put out the welcome mat for the Korean family and they threw a greeting party. Each family brought their special food for the party. Also, the Korean family brought their special food; the dish is Kimchi. (Kimchi is a traditional food of Korea. It is good for our health because it is fermented food. It is little bit spicy and salty.) They had not eaten Korean food. Of course, they showed their interest in Kimchi. They loved it from the very first taste. For more information, contact Aunt Bea. Green House or Grow House?”

By AMY Grooms

Soon to open is Aunt Bea's Beehive Greenhouse. She offers a variety of gardening for everyone, from fresh herbs and spices, to beautiful "bee" enhancing flowers. Aunt Bea's Beautiful Beehive Greenhouse will be opening in time for summer blooms. In addition to her Greenhouse, Aunt Bea's ambitions continue as she opens a "snack shack," which will feature her ever famous pies and other munchies. However, Aunt Bea's Greenhouse is doing more than adding tasty spices to spaghetti and pollinating petals. According to reports, Aunt Bea has applied for a medical marijuana license and plans to enhance the town of Mayberry. While watching Star Trek and listening to Pink Floyd, Deputy Barney Fife had this to say, "at least it is not Vegas out there!" Aunt Bea is currently in need of two full time employees to manage the Greenhouse for around-the-clock surveillance. Please apply within.

MAYBERRY “VEGGIE” FESTIVAL

Join the Mayberry Veggie Festival as Aunt Bea teaches participants how to make healthy snacks. If you’ve ever thought about eating healthier, but do not enjoy eating healthy, than you will learn a lot at the Mayberry Festival.

Everyone will receive a “healthy” dessert. The dessert will be a warm oversized cinnamon roll, which will be the size of a medium pizza. The cinnamon roll will be topped with a thick caramelized original glaze that you will be able to indulge in. The next item will be giant sized soft pretzels, served with cheese. Aunt Bea is one of the best advisors on how to live a healthier life, because these snacks taste better than kale and carrots any day.

KIDS ZONE IN MAYBERRY

It is the heat of the day here in Mayberry. And I, Jenna Fox, am about to take this large group of children (who age from 5-11) outside

to swim and play in the water park! Might I add, I am a fair-skinned lady who tries as much as possible to hibernate in the summer! I'm the one who constantly runs for shade in the tiniest nooks and crannies, and sometimes I'm positioned so oddly I can easily embarrass myself. But I do not care because anything beats getting sunburn! I like to stay with the kids who age from 8-11 because they like to play swimming games, so it makes the hotness in Mayberry bearable. Plus, they actually know how to swim so I don't have to necessarily worry about kids who panic about deep water. I do not mind hanging around the younger kids because most of them are somewhat scared of the water, so they hide out in the shade with me. We like to make up our own water games, but on

land (LOL)! Mayberry can get excruciatingly hot in the summer, barely missing 108 degrees. So, if you ever come to visit make sure you are prepared to: WEAR SUNBLOCK, BRING

A NUMEROUS SUPPLY OF HATS, STAY HYDRATED, and AND DO NOT GET A SUNBURN!!!! Although, it is almost impossible for me to not get a sunburn at least once in the summer.

com to enter. Winners receive a special prize, so don’t miss out!

Finally, the main even of the night will begin at 6PM with an auction. The

ladies of Mayberry will have a chance to win a date with the town’s most

eligible bachelors. These

gentlemen include Gomer Pyle, Deputy Bernie Fife, and even Sherriff Andy Taylor! Come on out to the town square this Saturday and have a wild good time with the people of Mayberry. We can’t wait to see you there!! By Sierra Hebert

Ms. Annabelle hosted a fundraiser yesterday. It was a beautiful and elegant fashion show put on by her Lady's Club to help raise money for the Mayberry Library. There had been talk about one of her members burping and making rude hand gestures at the other women. Before Sheriff Andy could investigate, he saw him. That's right folks, Mayberry's own, Otis Campbell has done it again! Otis somehow stumbled his way down the runway wearing women's attire, complete with a dress, a Derby Hat and flowers in one hand and a brown paper bag in the other. Sheriff Andy states, "Before I could even react I heard all the hoots and hollers from the townspeople." Turns out, the infamous Otis was a big hit and the fashion show raised more money than it has in 5 years! When asked how he ended up participating in a women's fashion show, he responded with a glassy stare and then said, "Huh? I'm looking' for the bathroom."
