product of planning, designing and construction.

Architectural works, in the material form of buildings, are often perceived as cultural and political symbols and as works of art.

Historical civilizations are often identified with their surviving architectural achievements.

Symbol

is something which represents an idea, a physical entity or a process but is distinct from it. The purpose of a symbol is to communicate meaning.

A red rose is a symbol for love and compassion.
