Need to go for Heart & Lungs Transplantation… but, no charges on hands to go to AIIMSSai Kiran is 15year old, Son of a rickshaw puller, studying IX class suffering from a heart disease called Tetorogly

4 months back, Doctors suggested his family to take him for transplantation for both heart and lungs. This
operation can be done only at AIIMS, Delhi. He don't have money for travelling to Delhi too. With Someone's

Hope you are doing fine and good. We have been regular to CMC, Vellore for post transplantation
treatment and here are the details for all his expenditure. We are spending Rs. 3,000- 5,000/- in

Sharvanee is getting used to movement now since we keep her in the pram and get her to the living room often.
She looks forward to little things like her favorite tv show, looking at me while I am in the kitchen cooking food, or
a simple joy of just being with me whichever room I am in, unlike earlier where she used to be in bed throughout
the day. We are in regular contact with the Oxygen Concentrator dealers and will update you soon on the price.
The initial estimation is about Rs.6Lakhs and considering abhaya support in this mission, they provided 20%
discount, we are approaching them again through a known friend and expecting 5% more discount. We hope to

My friends Pratyushaa and Bharati gave Rs.15,000 as funds for mission Jyothi, they
previously collected those funds for cancer treatment of another friend Ravinder, who
expired unfortunately. So when I asked my friends, they became ready to donate those
funds for our mission which is also for cancer treatment. I and my friends had to convince
Ravinder's parents to donate the amount which was unused and were able to do it very
soon fortunately. After getting those donations, I forwarded the amount to you through
Abhaya team members Dedeepya and Karthik. Wishing the mission Swathi to complete
successfully very soon - Rukmangadhar

This school was established in 1975 by ViswahinduSeva Prakalpa, by service minded communities ofRajamundray and other towns. Whereas the IntegratedTribal Development Agency (ITDA) of AP Governmentcame to existence in 1985. One can understand abouthow old School it is in the Forest Areas of GodavariDistrict. This is the areas where Alluri SeethaRamaraju, the warrior who stood besides innocenttribal against British atrocities during pre independentera. Post Independence, many people who afterknowing the backwardness of the tribal decided toestablish a school for educating the kids establishedGVSK.There after ITDA considering the good work anddevelopment of the School recognized it as BestAvailable School in the District and sanctioned 25% aidto the school (From 5th – 10th Class as per their normswhich is about 50 students) balance is about 100students from 1-4th. No one cared them in the past 40years. Now the infrastructure is in depleted condition. But, the situation is very pathetic. We could not imaginesuch a school in that area since 1975. They arepresently in need of Rice/ Food grains, Clothes, Books,Toys, RO Water Purifier, Computer Lab, Inverter and inlong term additional Buildings. The present strength isabout 150 students. With 10 members, if we are able to do so much… just think the power of 100 friends joining the cause and what we all can do how
many activities?Think once and do your level best. –
I am very happy that the meeting
conducted on Sunday was successful and
the students who attended the session
were connected to it. At that moment I
really felt bad that why we didn't start the
club in the college while we are in the 3rd
year. But I hope and pray to god that the
volunteers who attended the meeting will
be running it successfully by actively
conducting the social activities in the
college under the social club and thus inspiring many
students and spreading the good cause to maximum
engineering colleges. -
We (TKR Team) finally could achieve the TKR Abhaya Social
club in our college with the support of Dr. Ramaswamy garu,
Principal and Mrs.Sunitha, NSS coordinator of TKR College.
So a meeting regarding the social club was conducted on
28-4-2013 at Abhaya foundation, Masab tank . 20 students
from TKR College who are interested in taking part Abhaya
activities through TKR social club attended the meeting.
The meeting started at 3.30 PM.I took the opportunity to
explain my juniors about the formation of TKR Abhaya team,
the activities taken up by the team. Next Dedeepya gave a
brief note about the formation of Social Club. Karthik
explained about the activities that we are planning to work-
on in the social club. Next Balachandra uncle addressed the
gathering about the main idea behind organising the
meeting.
Introduction to Abhaya foundation was given to the
volunteers by showing them “Maa TV Velugu Veliginchu”
video. Next educare beneficiaries shared their experiences
about Abhaya. Balachandra uncle explained all the activities
that students can do through social club. Short film of
Abhaya was shown. The pictures and
videos regarding the ongoing project
Abhaya Home of Happiness were shown
to the volunteers. After completion of all
these things the volunteers were asked to
share their views about Abhaya and
community work. Shiva annaya
concluded the meeting and the meeting
concluded up at 5.45PM. –

Let us love and care them while SalutingMothers on Mother's DayRespect your mother, obey her commands. Give her the utmost
importance in human life. There may be a wicked son, but not a
wicked mother. It is because of the noble feelings of the mothers
that children become virtuous, intelligent, attain exalted positions
and earn name and fame. The mother fosters you, nourishes you,
knows your choices, preferences and fulfils all your needs. So, be
grateful to your mother always. Mother protects and helps her
children always, in many ways and even after her death. Never
disrespect your mother or disappoint her or hurt her feelings. Try
to satisfy her in all respects. Only then will the seed of devotion
sprout in you. Everyone should follow the dictum, Mathru Devo bhava (Mother is God) in letter and spirit and receive their

It is with mixed emotions that I reply to this newsletter. Mission Sarada. I am unable to stop tears from flowing.
That hopeful young girl who came through so much and yet God's will was different. Yes. I ask myself the same
question you had posed. Was there something we could have done? This tells us how short our life is and how we
spend it going behind tangible things which are of no use. I was only a believer in Abhaya till now. But now, I
embrace the spirit of Abhaya. This is my commitment to myself, my family and god that I will devote whatever time
I can to abhaya's cause and make use of this opportunity of Seva given by god. – Sandhya T, Dell, Hyderabad

It is my pleasure to be of some help to your noble cause. I am amazed to see the fast track response and can vouch
that all the e-initiatives of abhaya are amongst the best from similar causes that I had a chance to get associated
myself with. I am also happy to see the progress of abhaya Home. Very rare to see good thoughts getting converted
into action and with so much support. Whenever, I see your newsletters, I recollect the meeting last year and
abhaya's progress always delights me. As they say that charity begins at home, have asked my immediate relatives
for contribution first and continue to spread the word amongst friends. The current donation I remitted is from my
brother and hope to spread more.- CA Sanjog Jain, Nuziveedu Seeds Ltd, Hyderabad
