Healthy Living
Ronni Stunden, a retired Occupa-tional Therapist is on a mission to help people recover their
highest potential state of wellbeing in all areas of their life (body mind and soul).
After a life changing experience in 2008 and cancer in 2010 she came to a point of facing her own mortal-ity and of deep introspection. Ronni who suffered from poor health and chronic asthma since childhood, then started on a journey of self-healing by identifying the root causes of her ill-nesses, their emotional components and then processing them. Ronni stresses the importance of self-love and self-approval as the first steps on the road to a healthy and happy life.
Ronni studied Reiki (to Level 3), and obtained a diploma in Kinesiology and Massage of the two main reflex centres of the body – the head and feet, (applying the knowledge of neuro-vascular, neuro-lymphatic, ac-cupressure points and the energy meridians.) These alternative disci-plines taught her about the Energy Body and the power of thoughts (feelings) especially negative beliefs that become basic truths locked in the body causing imbalances and dysfunctions.
In September 2012 she established Wholebody Wellness and it is her pas-sion and gift to bring relief to people suffering from stress and the effects of health imbalances through com-passionate touch, thereby facilitating the natural ability of the body to heal itself.
The benefits of the treatments on of-fer include:
• Improved circulation
• Improved sleep patterns
• Reduced stress and tensions
• Boosted immune system
• Improved joint flexibility
• Reduces anxiety and depression
• Emotional Balance and a sense of well-being
• Reduction of chronic symptoms
• Natural healing
TREATMENT/MASSAGES: A price list is available on request.
• Indian Head Massage
• Thai Reflex Foot Massage
• Trigger Point Release with Indian Head Massage
• Hand Massage with Neck and Shoulder Massage
• EFT: (Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping)
• Reiki
WHERE AND HOW?
Ronni operates from her practice at home, and can do home visits where requested, as well as office visits. Relieving upper body tensions, improves mental clarity and productivity, and many businesses make use of her services.
You can also find her at weekly and monthly markets such as Tea in the Trees, Gonubie, Beacon Bay Cross-ing, Stutterheim as well as the Home Made Home Grown Market.
Contact Ronni on 082 524 4658. Hours are very flexible, daily from 9am – 7pm.

When we get too little shut-eye, our metabolism slows down to conserve energy. That slowdown triggers the release of the hormone cortisol, which increases appetite. Your body thinks it needs more energy, so it asks for more food. “The later you’re up at night, the greater the likelihood that you’re going to eat,” Breus says. And “you’re more likely to eat high-fat, high-carb foods.”
One other contributing factor to such weight gain is that the body burns the most calories during REM sleep, a deeply restful phase. And less sleep means less time in REM. So ... make your weight-loss dreams come true and sleep more!!
