It features a 35 BBL Esau-Huber Brew house System, 1550 BBLS of fermenta- on, Microbiological Analycal Sensory Laboratory, and Boling + Kegging Lines. There is a QAQC lab where beer is tested for safety and quality. We will also learn about their new energy efficient and radiant heat features. On Sept. 14, 2016 at 5:30-8PM, APICS Cleveland will be hosting a facility tour and dinner at the Market Garden Brewery (1947 W 25th

St, Cleveland, OH 44113). The event will begin with a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the brand new production facility. It features a 35 BBL Esau-Huber Brew house System, 1550 BBLS of fermenta-tion, Microbiological Analytical Sensory Laboratory, and Bottling + Kegging Lines. There is a QAQC lab where beer is tested for safety and quality. We will also learn about their new energy efficient and radiant heat features.

President’s Message:

Welcome to the 2016/2017 APICS Season

Your APICS Cleveland Board has been busy planning the upcoming year. Our Director of Programs, Dan Zubricky, has an exciting program schedule. The first Professional Development Meeting (PDM) is a social event and tour. The subsequent PDMs will continue to be held at the City Club in downtown Cleveland. APICS 2016/2017 will bring more dynamic speakers and plant tours taking us through the year. Recently APICS has merged with the Supply Chain Council American Society of Transporta-tion and Logistics (AST&L). Therefore, APICS continues to be the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in supply chain and operations management, including production, inventory, materials man-agement, purchasing, and logistics. The Cleveland chapter’s local strate-gy will continue to bring cutting edge materials, meetings and tours to its

members to align our objectives with the corporate strategy.

We would like to recognize one of our Chapter Members / Chapter Officers, Dan DiFilippo on his elec-tion to District Manager. This is a very prestigious accomplishment and Dan is very deserving of this new Office.
