Jazz is in bloom at the California Jazz Conservatory all through the month of May and you’re invited to enjoy the bounty!

Take a tour of jazz history with “The Life and Music of Bill Evans” a Documentary Film Screening / Master Piano Class led by Dave Thompson (13); and celebrate the May birthday of Sun Ra with David Slusser Stray Horns Play Sun Ra (25).

Tour the future of jazz with our CJC Student Performances (4 – 13) and CJC Senior Projects with performances by Jodi Durst and by Michael Echaniz (11)!

Vocalists can explore two classes with Sandy Cressman: ”ConnectedVoice” (20) and the second part of Sandy’s “Vocals and Percussion” series with Ami Molinelli (6); and all vocalists are invited to join in our Vocal Jam Session (27)!
