The Kid’s Studio is dedicated

to providing healthy foods

for our children. We have

developed an 8 week

rotation of meals. Below is

our menu rotation schedule:

In preparation for the new DHS guidelines that are

effective May 1, 2015, we are asking that all parents

fill out an information sheet for each child. You can

get a paper form from the front desk or fill it out

electronically. In order to be in compliance with

state laws, we need these forms as soon as possible.

As of May 1, 2015 the following items are not

allowed on a child while they are in a crib:

• Bibs

• Necklaces

• Garments with ties or hoods

• Clips or anything attached to a pacifier

• Pillows or stuffed animals

*Swaddling is not permitted. Also, a light blanket is permitted

in the crib if needed.

As we gear up for warmer weather this time to

start applying sunscreen to children. Please bring a

labeled can of spray sunscreen for your child’s

body and a stick for their face. No other form of

sunscreen is permitted. We will put the sunscreen

on your child once we have gotten outside on the

playground. We also must have a signed “Topical

Medication Form” permitting us to apply it. We

appreciate your help as we get ready for summer!

Pre-K graduation will be on Monday, May

11th at 7pm at the Cross Church Main

Building upstairs in the Clubhouse. We can’t

believe the time has already arrived for

your children to go to Kindergarten! Please

arrive by 6:45pm and dress in your Sunday

best. We can’t wait to see what is in store

for the future of these bright young minds!

Just a reminder that we do not serve

breakfast, we serve an A.M. snack. We

have noticed that children are coming to

school hungry. We want to remind you

to please feed your child breakfast

before coming to school. The A.M. snack

does not meet the USDA guidelines to

be considered a meal, and is only meant

to hold them over until their scheduled

lunch time. You can view the menu to

find out what is being served for all

meal and snack times. In order to be in

compliance with the new DHS guide-

lines, we have revised some of our

meal/snack schedules. Please see the

top of your child’s classroom door for

these schedule changes starting
