The Holy Spirit of God, like tongues of flame, comes down upon the disciples, and the Church is born. Let us rejoice today in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

First Reading: Acts 2:1-11 God’s Holy Spirit brings unity and understanding to all the people of the earth.

Second Reading: Galatians 5:16-25 The life of the Spirit and the life of self-indulgence are totally opposed.

Gospel: John 15:26-27; 16:12-15 The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and will lead us into all truth.
